Because someone has to do it. You can't just sit around and let shit like that go down.

Contrary to popular opinion, yes someone does need to be the international police and after two world wars started overseas, we stepped up.

And we didn't wait long originally, Gulf War was like a couple years after the Kurds.

And if it were up to me, other dictators would get it too, but some politicians are against interventionist policy so a lot of dictators get passes.

That's life and there are many other political red tapes that get caught up in what countries we can or should get involved with.
