As Sasha Banks appears to be injured! Fuuuuuuck! Man, I hope it isn't something serious.

Well, the injuries just keep piling up for WWE to some prominent stars.

Less than 24 hours after we learned that the biggest star the company has, John Cena, would be out through WrestleMania with a shoulder injury, we were hit with the news on Thursday that maybe the most talented Diva on the roster hit a snag as well. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter(subscription required), Sasha Banks is dealing with some sort of issue, although what sort of injury it is in unknown at this time.

Throughout the course of the past week, Banks was conspicuous by her absence on television, as she was last seen following her win over Becky Lynch on the December 28 edition of RAW. However, although she was missing, there were really no whispers to the effect that she was injured or anything — until Thursday.

All things considered, Banks was the top Diva in the entire company in 2015 with all of the classic matches she had down in NXT, and everyone had hoped there was something more for her in the cards for 2016. Hopefully this injury will not put the skids on any big plans the company may have had for her.

Sasha's my #1 female, but it's not like they have her doing much at the moment anyway. It's extremely doubtful she'd even make it on the Wrestlemania card at all unless they threw all the Divas into the same match together in some type of replication of the Diva's Invitational match from WMXXX or something. It's all about Charlotte, Becky, and Paige at the moment, and I don't see Sasha breaking away from Team Bad and turning babyface before Mania gets here (sounds like the type of thing that might happen on Raw the night after, though.)

^ Sasha lies. She's had neck problems since Takeover Brooklyn.

But it isn't like she's been on TV since being called up or is valued on the main roster so who cares?

Damn, didn't know that. So that Reverse Rana did fuck her up after all? Tough business.

As noted, WWE pulled Sasha Banks from the ring after her December 28th WWE RAW match against Becky Lynch in Brooklyn. Word was that she had an undisclosed injury.

After Sasha apparently dismissed but did not deny the reports on her Tumblr last week, it's being reported now that she suffered a MCL injury to one of her knees. She is not expected back in the ring until some time in February, according to PWInsider.
