*Jay Washington's theme hits, then it stops. People are obviously confused and then a different theme begins to play*


*All the lights are dim until the words "Cut It" are blasted through the arena then all the lights switch oj and turn blue, a person walks out wearing a black towel over their head, a long grey jacket and black wrestling tights, sporting the word Nightmare on them, they then get to the ring and get into the ring they then grab a mic and stand in the middle of the ring*

???: I knew it'd come to this! I am Nightmare, the saviour of this company, I may not be no Tyson, no Emerson Zayne nor any BlackJack but I sure am damn ready to be like that. You may be confused on why I'm here [/COLOR=orange]*Nightmare takes off the towel from his head to reveal a face painted face*[/COLOR], I'm here because I am the next best thing to the psycho of this company, I'm here because I am going to be an Intercontinental champion, a world champion, hell maybe a tag champion. With you losing matches, you should've done a promo after a match saying you needed to sort some things out. Like it vague and open.
Next promo, have you in the middle of some random place, maybe a bar and you get drunk, maybe skydiving, mountain climbing, whatever. The more random the better.
Lets start with the bar example. You get drunk, you go outside, you get mugged and wake up in a hospital with this alternate ego. He's triggered by extreme violence to you.
Slydiving, you pass out on the fall, wake up still midfall as this alterego, triggered by adrenaline.
Mountain climbing, you fall, similar to the bar ecample, get hurt and wake up... You get the drift.
Easy to have done.

1. There should be some sort fo build up because otherwise it feels forced. Which that was forced.

I get you're on a losing streak, but that does not mean you should automatically COMPLETELY change your character after some losses. You could have maybe talked to someone else that could use a storyline which could involve both of you gaining some credibility as competitors. If you want to see a league example of people doing a good thought storyline that did well, look at Geek and Welsh from the PS4 league in 2k16. Geek's character did a slow heel turn and it was very well done. To come out randomly and say "I'm under a new name and now I'm edgy" is kind of lazy. If you wanted to create this alter ego, you need to have a reason it can come out.

Look at Mick Foley. While eventually, he would change between them fairly quickly, each "face of Foley" had been introduced with reason. Mankind entered the WWF, when Stone Cold wouldn't want to team with him, he came out as Dude Love, then was facing Triple H in a brutal feud and needed someone who could take punishment and dish it out, he brought Cactus Jack back.

You don't need to go super long in a story, but there has to be some thought behind it. Or else, you change gimmick or do something big, there is nothing behind it.

@DemonHunter1257 I'm going to put it simply why you should focus more on story and build up. You are not good at the game, as shown by the fact you are unable to pick up a victory. So, in a league that is based partially on matches and mainly on story, that leaves you with your only option to actually put some real effort into your promos and storytelling. Otherwise, nobody will ever want to feud or team with you, and therefore you will not amount to anything in this league.
I know it may seem harsh, but honestly, it seems like there is no other way to get you to realize the importance of story telling and character development. And if you still are unable to understand it now, then there is honestly no hope for you in this league.
