Thoughts??????

I guess some flaws people may have are Orton/Cena again, and Batista vs HHH again, HBK vs Undertaker, again. BUT hey. There isn't many fresh matchups left. I don't think now is a good time for Punk, MVP, Kennedy, Jericho, to be headlining.

Agreed, WM isn't really the place to break in a new ME-er, but there was one b-i-g AND fresh match at the E's disposal, but they shot their load way too early on that one.

Why i went with Cena vs Orton. Again, its the top heel and face. Could be comparable to Austin/Rock. Orton wins the belt off of Punk, basically i wanted a fued with a bit of some history, so there could be a big blowoff match, rather than a "first time ever" match. Orton won last year, the history is there.

I think HHH vs Batista has enough history same iwth taker/HBK.

Cena/Orton works for me, but I'm not so sure about HHH/Tista... Kinda a closed book to me. (I'd have prob gone with HHH/Edge instead but wouldn't have had them face off @ GAB08 - Another complete waste.)

So yeah, in short I think WWE have pissed away 2/3s of their best WM ME options over the last month or so.

I hope Taker/HBK is a lock... Bearing in mind they haven't faced off for nearly 11 years, it may as well be considered fresh. Needless to say, the match would be phenominal!

Then looking at the undercard, i got rid of the MITB, it got stale. Time to bring back some importance to the mid card and tag belts.

Absolutely superb idea, particularly if it paves the way for the unification of the tag titles.

I really like Montana's "Rights to Mr. WrestleMania" match. It's a fresh idea. It keeps Taker out of the title match and gives HBK another meaningful match at Mania. Plus, they never fought each other at Mania before and would be a flashback to their feud in the 90's. I want to totally see that now.

I pretty much agree and like most of what cenamark54 has got down. But with a few exceptions, Id like to see HHH slowly turn nasty bastard heel and be in full blown evil heel mode by time Mania rolls round. I don't like the idea of a face turn for Edge he imo is way better as a heel and probs one of the best heels for ages. Id like to see Jeff exchanged for Morrison. And Matt vs Jeff for title Jeff winning it and Morrison winning MITB rather Jeff was ECW champ than wwe champ at the moment see if he stays outta trouble for awhile.

Some pretty good cards here - really liking Montana's card. Here is my card keeping in mind that Mania is 4 hours long, this being the 25th anniversary and it being in Texas.

Main Event

*RR2007 taker and hbk were last 2 and made that ending amazing
*RR2008 taker and hbk start out and have some great moments
*RR2009 hbk eliminates taker after trying to kick EDGE, EDGEl then eliminates hbk
*after No Way Out HBK is on Raw talking about how much he's accomplished and how he wants this Mania to be another notch in his glorious career and really doesn't know what to do or who to face because he's done it all. gongs hit, taker "rest in peace" and its on from there - matchup has slowly built up for a little more than 2 years and has about 5 or 6 weeks before Mania to get intense.

Intercontinental Title
Santino (c) vs. Charlie Hass

*before the match Santino gets heat as only he can do by shitting on Texas and Austin and the whole HOF ceremony
*Haas comes out as Austin (as he did on Raw 10/20/08) and loses
*After the match Santino says he would have beaten the real Austin too and Austin comes out

***Since we pretty much know that Austin will get into the HOF this year you can bet to see Austin make an appearance at Mania. If he doesn't come out after this match to Stunner Santino and Hass then I can see JBL falling victim again.***


I was hoping to see Terry Funk get inducted into the HOF by Mick Foley and I still have faith in that happening. If so maybe they can interfere in the lame SD vs. Raw vs. ECW match or even in the ECW title match.
