Sorry, missed again. No review yet again. Hopefully next week is a little less chill for me and I can get a review done. Was the show enjoyable?

to RKO Legacy yeah raw was pretty enjoyable.
Main thing was that they had a beat the clock to determine Ortons opponent at summerslam.

Yeah, pretty sure everyone knows DX is returning at Summerslam, been called for months. Sweet. The Masterpiece is the shit. Zzz @ Orton vs. Cena yet again and at Summerslam.

Does anyone else feel like deju vu? Orton vs. Cena at Summerslam again? Just like 2 years ago? I am not hating it, but that just shows the WWE does not know how to make new stars and/or they are running out of ideas.

Never the less, Orton vs. Cena is always my dream match, so whenever it goes down I am happy. Cena might actually hold the belt now.

DX reunion is obvious. Why can't they have HBK return as a surprise? Now we are all going to expect it and if it doesn't happen as soon as we expect we will all bitch out WWE just like we did waiting for Jericho to come back.

RAW IS MASTERS.

Good Raw this week miles better than last week. Beat the clock matches were good. Shaq was mint. And also looks like FINALLY Trips is gonna be away from Orton which is Grrrreat :). So now we wait for the return of HBK to reunite DX which I'm buzzing about. Ive missed Shawn and even though id much rather see him in singles action, This way he comes back which is awesome, And with doing so he pulls HHH away from Orton and title scene for awhile so it's all good in my eyes. Cryme time are wicked i like them and were fun to watch. Overall i thought Raw was good tonight. I like the guest host thing it's good when they get decent hosts.

I don't really think that Cena vs Orton is a fact of WWE not being able to create new stars, but a matter of them wanting to secure a top buyrate, and since that match alone managed to get more buyrate than Cena vs Batista/Edge vs Taker...

DX alone will make Summerslam must see for me.

Orton/Cena is a bit dissapointing... I really hoped the next time they went on-on-one it would have been a WM ME.

probly one of the worst shows i've seen in years

pros:
masterpiece came back
well thats about it acually

cons:
Beat the clock was to predictable
Big show as jericho's partner (didn't see PPV so i'm counting this for the others that didn't either)
Pointless main event
Another Chavo/Hornswaggle match

Edit: just to be clear i'm not really a Chris Masters fan so the fact he gets the only good thing about the show is pretty bad

Judging by the reaction he got, you were the only one.

He actually got a decent pop when he first came out, though I'll admit there was total silence after that.

I'm just going to list what I liked and didn't like.

Liked:

Everything that involved Shaq. I was expecting him to be the best out of the guest hosts so far, and I was right. We got the obligatory show-down between he and Show, and it was fun, if nothing else. Once he retires from the NBA, I'd like to see him make a couple more appearances for the E.

The Masterpiece's return. For some reason, I always liked him and while I don't expect him to win the WWE title, I can see him being a nice addition to the RAW mid-card.

Cody Rhodes vs HHH. Cody wasn't totally squashed (HUZZAH!), and HHH didn't win, so we won't get HHH v Orton 200193 at Summerslam (Instead, we get Cena vs Orton 100295 >_>). Add in the fact that all this seems to lead to an HBK return, and I'm all for it.... Until DX squashes Ted and Cody, that is.

Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger. Bourne has new music, and a new shirt, and although this was a short match it was pretty damn good. The fact that Bourne won his match faster than anyone else should mean that he's in line for a title shot, but this is WWE, and Bourne gets nothing :(

The Miz vs Cena. We all knew Cena was winning, and although its been done before, Cena vs Orton usually deliver when they're in the ring against one another, and it gives WWE a WM-like main event for Summerslam. No complaints here.

Disliked

Pretty much everything else.

Mark Henry has been easily beating down the likes of Orton and Jericho in recent weeks, yet CARLITO of all people gives him trouble? That made absolutely no sense.

Chavo vs Hornswoggle. It was never that funny, let it end!

The Women's match. I liked a bit of a tease for a Gail Kim heel turn, but the actual match was terrible.

Kofi Kingston vs The Brian Kendrick. No, just no. We get it, Kendrick smokes pot and WWE feels the need to humiliate him week in and week out. Its still a waste of time (I'm aware the match only lasted about 10 seconds).

By the way, did HHH really say that cutting off a dog's tail causes it to die? Are we sure Kendrick is the only guy that's been smoking pot?

All in all, a good show. They set up the RAW main event for Summerslam, and now have 4 weeks for the build-up. Shaq did his thing, and judging by the fact that's its been mentioned on ESPN already, bringing him in did the job as far as getting WWE some mainstream publicity.

aside from hornswoggle being in the ring + cena won + the way cena won, that was a nice raw...

The way the beat the clock challenge was set up made absolutely no sense. And it completely discredited everyone who they were facing. Bourne/Orton should logically be the Summerslam main event. I really hope they were all backstage going "OHHH SHIT OOOPS....there needs to be two particpants in each match...thaaaaats how this shit is supposed to work."

Mark Henry's three weeks of near squash matches...one on the WWE Champion leads to............problems beating Carlito?

Cena/Orton really doesn't bother me at all for Summerslam, they usually work quite well together. Even though there really is nothing personal leading into this feud I'm sure they'll work something in before Summerslam. We all know people love beating the shit out of Cena's father.
(On a side note, to anyone who's bored I recommend rewatching Edge's home invasion of Cena's house...fucking HILARIOUS)

Shaq actually did quite a good job, by far the best out of the the guest hosts.
I'm really looking foward to Jeremy Piven next week. Is anyone else hoping that he does the whole fucking show in his Ari persona...that would be brilliant.

Masters is back...and honestly....looks to have put back on about 40 pounds of muscle since they resigned him.
