What a game it has been between Pelicans and Clippers.

The Pelicans had a 14-1 run to tie the game until the Clippers scored two, to take a 90-88 lead.

The Pelicans claim the #8 seed over the Clippers, with the win 105-101.

They play the top seeded Suns in the First Round.

lol Stephen A. Smith believes that the Timberwolves-Grizzlies game won't go pass 5 games.

He's a fucking idiot. We'll see about that.

I mean, the Grizzlies have Ja Morant who's a fucking superstar, and they've got a good cast around him, but I think people are just underestimating the Timberwolves's youth movement.

The team started off slow to begin the season but exploded by the 2nd half. That's quite something.

Yeah Wolves and Griz should go 6 or 7 either way. I saw my Sixers mopped up the Griz this Season so I'm not slurping on them as a Team vs The Timberwolves who I really like especially Edwards. Great Games tonight Jazz vs Mavericks, Wolves vs Griz, Raptors vs Sixers, Nuggets vs Warriors.

The Jazz hang on to beat the Mavericks 99-93, to take Game 1.

Also, the Timberwolves are off to a good start, leading the Grizzlies 30-17.

Minnesota is holding onto this lead here after the 1st, but they got sloppy. Gotta hold onto this and tighten up.

Congrats Minnesota, you blew a 13 point 1st quarter lead. Yeah, that's just like this team.

Timberwolves up by 3 at the half. Turnovers are killing them, but if they can figure out a way to limit it, they gonna be good.

Timberwolves are up by 5 and got 15 more minutes on the clock to put this away.

I think they can easily steal this win.

Good news that Capela has no damage to his right knee, but it sucks that he'll have to miss out the First Round of the playoffs:

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela's injured knee to be re-evaluated in week, sources say

ESPN

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela suffered no structural damage to his right knee but could miss a significant part -- if not all -- of an opening-round playoff series against the Miami Heat, sources told ESPN on Saturday.

Capela underwent an MRI on Saturday in Miami and is expected to have his hyperextended knee reevaluated in a week, sources said.

The Hawks and Heat play Game 1 on Sunday and Game 2 on Tuesday in Miami, with Games 3 (Friday) and 4 (April 24) in Atlanta.

The loss of Capela is a significant blow to the Hawks, who entered the playoffs after advancing with two victories in the play-in tournament to meet the Eastern Conference's top-seeded Heat.

Capela, 27, has averaged 11 points, 11.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks this season.

Capela left Saturday night's 107-101 victory over Cleveland after a collision in the second quarter when Cavaliers center Evan Mobley fell against Capela's leg as Mobley was falling down. Capela then fell to the court and clutched his right knee in pain. Capela's teammates quickly surrounded him, and he had to be helped off the court.

Coach Nate McMillan said after the game that Capela's knee was sore, but he offered no further update.
