Even when I look at the teams rumored to want Dame like the Warriors, Heat, Knicks, Lakers none of the pieces they are giving up sells anything to me. I get Ben Simmons stock went down loads because of the Playoffs but he has a upside and I look at some of the players involved in other Trades why wouldn't you want Ben, Mattise who is a lock down Defender and could be on the Defensive First Team if he plays Starters minutes and a young player like Maxley who showed his grit in the Playoffs and if the Sixers trade away Ben he needs to be the Starting PG to run the Offense.

Picks will be added to that Trade but come Warriors Wisemen, Wiggins and Picks nah pass. Give me Klay if I'm Portalnd.

Knicks have guys like RJ Barrett and Robinson the Trailblazers might want but are they really going to make a difference you for highly doubt it.

Pelicans might have Ingram but who is the hell wants to play over there it's not a hot bed for Free Agency these days.

Heat have Herro but his stock went down as well and I doubt Herro helps the Pelicans at all. I would love to see Bam Bam, Butler and Dame on a team I gotta be honest.

Chicago Bulls you would think they would give up LaVine and another player with Picks for him? I would love to see my Sixers trade and get LaVine but the asking might be too high who knows.

Lakers could need to give Kuzma and Harrell with Picks to scoop him up and I say no Basketball Gods don't let it happen. As for those Lakers players I say who because I say nothing for that team outside of Davis, Lebron, and Schroder this Season. I think Schroder is a Free Agent to come so could you Sign and Trade but he turned down a huge offer from the Lakers so that is all you need to know.

I even heard the Celtics in these rumors but I'm like are you giving up Tatum and the Celtics say back no and I hang up on their asses. No Tatum in the deal fuck off Celtics.

So I'm gonna be doing some kind of video mock draft for the first 14 picks or so of the draft this Sunday with Garrett Gonzales from F4Wonline and fight game media and some more random wrestling nerds (plus one of my friends I invited that doesn't know the first thing about wrestling)

I'm going with the Rockets at pick 2, was wondering what you guys were thinking from them at that slot....and yes I've done no research and can hardly name the draft class

Houston Rockets Mock Draft

1. Detroit Pistons: Cade Cunningham, guard, Oklahoma State
2. Houston Rockets: Jalen Green, guard, NBA G League
3. Cleveland Cavaliers: Jalen Suggs, guard, Gonzaga

Jalen Green seems to make the most sense if the Houston wants to plug in a potential perimeter All-Star instead of going the unconventional modern route with Mobley.

With 15 games of experience as a member of the NBA G League Ignite, Green went a unique route instead of playing college basketball this past season. In 247Sports’ composite rankings, Green trailed only Cunningham and was rated ahead of Mobley (No. 3) and Suggs (No. 11) coming out of high school.

Green may have the most upside other than Cunningham among the 2021 draft entrants in terms of overall scoring potential. His skills as a distributor still leave something to be desired, but he’s the most explosive perimeter athlete among the players in consideration for this pick.

When it comes to deciding whether to draft Green or not, Houston needs to decide how it wants to construct the roster.

If the plan is to build around Wall, Eric Gordon and Christian Wood, and the Rockets believe they can be competitive with that group, Green might actually be the best plug-and-play fit right now. Having established that, it seems like Wood is the only player who’s “safe” among that trio.

Green would be a solid choice for Houston no matter what the circumstances, but it feels like Mobley and Suggs may be better long-term fits.
