Not much of a shock. As much as I'm not a fan, he's still winning on a regular basis, so it's smart to keep him on the team.

Indeed. Imagine if he went elsewhere like Kyle Busch did and stopped winning?

Hell yeah! Chalking up the SVG win now. :lol
He could very well win it, as we all see him win the inaugural race at Chicago two years ago. Should be exciting to watch next season.

The only place Denny would possibly switch to is 23XI imo. Guessing if he ever does race for himself, it'll be when he's retired and he does a part-time gig. Most multi-year NASCAR deals are 2 years +1 team option year. Realistically, Denny would be at 800+ races by that point, so it'll probably be the end of his full-time career

That make sense for him to switch to 23XI Racing once his full-time career dies down. With him being very consistent, I don't see him slowing down anytime soon.

Fun fact, this is his 20th season driving the 11 car. And him driving the car for another ten seasons (if he stays committed), would be 30 total seasons.

The really wild part is, if he did this for another 10 years, he'd still be more than 100 starts behind Richard Petty

Its crazy the amount of races some seasons had back in the day. Like 1964 he ran 61 of 62 races. But that's because back then, the races known now as the duels were points races also. So no one ran all 62 :lol some 40 and 50 plus race seasons.

Like you have more than 1 a week, back to back days sometime even. I think some seasons maybe even had two races the same day at different places. So you would pick which track you knew you was better at, or you see this race has a lot of the top drivers, so maybe you go to the other one and give yourself a shot.

Is Chase saying that because he would be a multi-time champ by now? Probably. Is he right? Absolutely.
