I just think that the caution coming out was our first example of NASCAR manipulating races. They were 150 feet from the line, so I don't buy Harvick's "It was for the drivers' safety" thing. Those guys were going 188+ and were that close to the line. None of the guys behind the crash had time to slow down enough to make it any safer for anyone.
The funny thing is, Harvick has his one and only Daytona 500 win, because of NASCAR not throwing the caution. So I bet in that case he’s glad they didn’t, because if they did Mark Martin would have one, and Harvick wouldn’t.
Like it’s at least good this happened in the duels where all Jones misses out on is the trophy and bragging rights, as he’s 4th either way on Sunday
