Looked like a move that was mostly meant to shed Donaldson's contract and save money.

I think the Twins appear to be on a semi-rebuild, shedding big contracts for more talent.

It sucks that Freeman won't be resigned, but I'm happy that the we ended up getting Matt Olson, to fill his shoes.

I want to thank Freeman for the years he's played in Atlanta, and helping us win the first World Series since 1995. It's been a pleasure having him be the leader of the team.
