I like this changeup of the Divisions let's do it right now! I know MLB are really pushing to have the league start up in May or June so if all as planned expect Doubleheaders galore with all the teams.

The Major League Baseball Players Association asked MLB to set a schedule for the 2020 season rather than counter the latest return-to-play proposal by the league, setting the stage for MLB to implement a significantly shortened schedule and deepening the labor strife between the parties.

In a statement Saturday night, MLBPA executive director Tony Clark rejected MLB's latest proposal and said: "Further dialogue with the league would be futile. It's time to get back to work. Tell us when and where."

I swear, these proposal rejections is pissing me off. It's becoming more and more likely that there will be no baseball this season if they keep shooting themselves in the foot with these rejections.

Yeah it's been really frustrating to see the two sides not come to to an agreement by this point. The for sure strike next year for sure was on the minds of both sides especially Players, and I don't know how in the end how this helps either side especially Players if they don't play. I don't see the top flight players being as effected by this, but think about the guy who isn't making tons of money and them not playing right now they are the ones at level 10 when it comes to stress because they want to play now not a Year from now.

It's a fucking joke that the inevitable is about to happen. It's a matter of time that Manfred will make the announcement that the 2020 seasons officially cancelled.

At the very least this isn't some sort of 1994 season where Baseball was at it's absolute peak of popularity and the MLB owners completely fucked it up and killed Baseball as a sport for decades afterwards.

This has quite a few mitigating circumstances to it.

I kinda feel the same way about my Phillies. They haven't done enough Pitching wise to compete and it wouldn't shock if play still happens this Year for them to be at the bottom of the basement.
