Guess maybe I’ll stick with the Roughnecks.

Ill be sticking with the Renegades. Las Vegas Vipers does have a better ring to it than the Tampa Bay Vipers.

I was expecting different names, not recycling the same names from XFL2020. Only differences are Seattle Dragons now are the Sea Dragons, Vipers went from Tampa to Vegas, Guardians went from New York to Orlando (XFL 2020 had Dallas Roughnecks where XFL2023 has Arlington, but the Dallas team played in Arlington).


The one original name is the San Antonio Brahmas. This replaced the Los Angeles Wildcats. To their credit the new name is MUCH more original.

Of course my problem is this is the first time a new league is not putting a team in New York, so I need to think about who to root for. I rolled with the Guardians in XFL2020, but I'm gonna wait until the rosters come out to see where I go now.

I don't blame them for not coming to NYC, as the Guardians couldn't pay people to sit outside at MetLife Stadium in February/March to watch minor league football.

There are some returning players that I recognized from the 2020 XFL.. like Brandon Silvers was on the Seattle Dragons.

Marquette King I recognize from the Raiders. Overall I don't think that there are as many recognizable former NFL players this time around as before but that doesn't impact my interest in the XFL.

I do wish that the Renegades would go back to the old logo as the new one looks generic in comparison.
