I for one don't give a shit about the Hartford Whalers being used by the Carolina Hurricanes. It'd be like the Minnesota Twins using the Washington Senators as throwbacks. They're the same franchise, so there's no immorality or unethicality to it. Just cuz it annoys some people doesn't mean these franchises can't use them.

BTW, the State of Georgia is in the works of getting another team. Our Semi Pro teams are doing very well, and with the Atlanta United selling out almost every home game, we are quickly becoming more than just a baseball and football state.

Biggest thing that is helping many newer pro teams here is moving them to the suburbs of Atlanta. More people attend and it's a safer environment (traffic isn't as bad).
