Also I’m bummed they didn’t select Holtby, at least we only have him for another year. Apparently the Kraken wanted us to retain half his salary which was a no go. Hopefully he finds his old form this year and him and Demko can be a great tandem.

Fuck off GM Fletcher you trade away our future and get nothing back what kind of Trade is that.

Nothing but a salary dump and giving the Coyotes picks so they would take him. This isn’t a new thing pretty sure they did a similar thing with Pronger. Like I mean they could’ve gotten a later round pick but I don’t understand why you’re so upset when now they have more cap room.

Why would I be pissed with a talented player who is only 28 right now being giving away for Peanuts when he has plenty of room to grow to be even better. Everyone has Cap problems and Salaries to deal with you figure it out you don't give away talent and get nothing back. Now if they got a Pick or a Player back you can say at least we got something back or a prospect to work on but to get nothing yeah that is stupid to me.

2021 deadline pickup Taylor Hall is reportedly sticking around.

After almost a week straight of positive reports in regards to the negotiations between the Bruins and the 29-year-old pending free agent, the sides spent Thursday afternoon finalizing a four-year deal worth $24 million.

I just don’t see why you’re so upset when I’ve seen the majority fans of the Flyers happy to see them actually have cap room. Everyone knows if you need to get rid of an expensive player who still has some talent then trade him to Arizona. Like I said yeah they could have asked for a late rounder but to expect a second or third round pick or a promising prospect for an expensive player who hasn’t played well in over 3 years is crazy.

I'm good you commented because the Flyers made a Trade today to get Rasmus Ristolainen from the Sabres someone who had a worst Plus/Minus than Ghost Bear and in his NHL Career he's never had a positive Plus/Minus and yet we do the Trade. We gave up also our 1st Round Pick which is 13th Pick in the Draft, Hagg, and a 2nd in 2023. So you're giving up alot for a guy who hasn't played well either and because of his liability on Defense like people talked about Ghost Bear you can't have him out there playing loads of minutes. I get it he didn't play well to his Contract or what the Organization wanted him to be but then you bring in a guy who hasn't hit the mark either how does that make any sense?

Alot of people talk about why you should be angry on a Trade with your Team when everyone else loves it yeah I can have my opinion and in my opinion you could of done something better I feel. It doesn't make me go hooray either when the Organization brings in a guy who is gonna be playing or possibly be playing worst than the guy you traded away. I get it a change on the line was needed but these Trades doesn't make me go yep were Playoff bound now I expect more of the same of us being down 2-0 or 3-0 throughout many Games this upcoming Season.

Oh and he costs more per this Year as well at 5.4 Million and Ghost was 4.5 Million. We will see if they resign him going forward.

What? Ristolainen was on the Sabres lmfao no fucking kidding he has a bad career +/- :heston

Also Ristolainen was one of the most coveted players, numerous teams wanted him. If he doesn’t pan he doesn’t pan out but you’re not making any sense.

Nah I don't know what info you're getting but from Sabres fans and analysts who write for the Sabres I'm seeing they wanted that dude gone. He needs to pan out brother Mitch when you give up Picks for any player they need to contribute day 1 and if he doesn't then you look stupid for giving up Picks while giving up money to take on that bigger contract. I'm hoping for the guy at 26 to figure it out but I'm worried all this dealing backfires on us.

Ristolainen only has a year left on his contract so the Flyers could easily negotiate a new contract for less money if they decide to keep him, that’s why they call it a contract year. Ghost Bear has 2 years left on his contract which would end up costing them more in the end. Plus if they end up as sellers Ristolainen ends up being a more valuable piece at the trade deadline as a rental.
