I played that as a kid, fun minus the fact our version had some freezing/crashing issues.

I'll at least say that, in comparison to other "Yearly sports franchises" the MLB The Show series is respectable. Still got issues, especially with some of the focus on Diamond Dynasty, but it is less predatory compared to most Ultimate Team modes and most good cards you can get with some moderate grinding that isn't over the top.

hey MLB The Show 23 had the Negro League mode which was outstanding.

But I get that. Franchise and Road to the Show have felt pretty much the same the past few years.

I still think RTTS is the best career type mode of any of the major games but yeah it's kinda gotten stagnant too. Sad bc that's my big draw for sports games, I love taking control of single players

I love it but typically never get more than 3 or 4 seasons in cause playing 162 games is annoying as fuck. Not to mention your guy sucks when you start.

Also I get pissed when the GM is an idiot. My guy was a 1st baseman and the Braves traded for me and still had Freddie Freeman. And kept him on the bench.

I made it work for them cause I hit like 100 homers and drove in 250 (I was on easy mode). But stupid shit like that frustrates me.
