Like, even if it is still on the Leafs to win God they almost always ended up with Tampa or Boston as their opponents.

right! well NY has hockey weather and tradition. cali having THREE teams is also insane but at least theres a market for it.

Lightning are great, Panthers imo are no, they good atm but they struggled with attendance for years.

I feel the same way about Phoenix fwiw, get that team out of there and put it in markets where there's actual fans like Quebec City.

ROBERTO & Bure years tho and Yandle. I mean I don't have anything against Phenoix as a Market. Q Cit. though but I imagine those fans gonna be overbearing af.

I mean as for weather comment don't think that really effects too much love hockey can be anywhere and I don't think people give as much fucks about Islanders then other two. If something God forbid would happen to buffalo I do think I end up being a Rangers fan tbf. They had a lot of players I liked throughout the years too.

id rather have overbearing fans than an empty arena and a city who never actually wants to pay for anything. respectfully, that franchise is a joke and has been a joke for my entire life

I am obviously particular to Quebec City since I'm a Canadian, east Coast Canadian, they moved before I was born so I missed out. But also I know that would result in some division shuffling.

If they move to Houston, I'd be cool with that idea as a more "test" but one that at least in theory seems to have potential

forgot Buffalo traded him. its a shame theres a lot of mismanagement for the Sabres because they were on the up and up it seemed

I mean we are on the up now and we got alot for him but we were in limbo till we get a bona-fide Goalie (Lehner was terrible in buffalo) I think I heard rumors of us trading for Winnpeg Goalie. I also wouldn't mind Hart. We got that Devon Levi in the future too coming up. Eichel did have to carry his team in buffalo for alot of years but that break up left a sour taste in fans mouths.

Largest US city without a hockey team. Big market, at least some hockey history, the AHL team there only moved due to disagreements and seemed to have a decent crowd.

And Texas has shown they can support a team in Dallas, so battle of Texas can work

Yeah was bout to say this Houston be a good market for American team that said I def see why Canadians are wanting a team back in by them. I mean how many different expansion teams have come in over last few years in nhl mlb NBA etc. And Canada hasn't has one since

Man had a mental breakdown I feel for him also kind of makes me feel bad for calling him Swiss cheese for all those years . Will say I loved having Murray as a GM for the fact he gave no shits those draft days where they think everyone and this mofo running up going Sabres select... was great.

I also will be honest I don't know much about hockey coaches in general besides Melrose Byslma the one the sabres signed and then went to Toronto and of course the goat
