WCCW The Von Erich Cup 2010 Poster.png

{Rocky Johnson Jr., Sean O'Haire, and Steve Austin}

The show opens up to build hype for the finale for the Von Erich Cup Tourney! It's well-produced and well packaged {4.75}

To kick off the show, Chris Harris defends against Kip Winchester. Winchester isn't in the greatest shape following the attack on him from Harris. Harris would reverse Winchester's Famouser into a Catatonic to make Defense #1 of his WCCW Texas Heritage Championship {3.5/5}

In our first Tourney Match of the night, Steve Austin takes on the younger Cody. Austin would reverse a Disaster Kick into his Lou Thesz Press, beating Cody Rhodes in a well-loved match {5/5}

The WCCW Tag Title Match was next. The newer Blackjacks couldn't keep up with the experienced Storm and Murdoch. Storm would wipe out Taylor with the Last Call Superkick for the victory. Brew Crew makes Defense #1 of their WCCW Tag team Championships {3.25/5}

Bob Holly vs Dustin Rhodes is next. Two former WCCW Champs squared off, with Dustin Rhodes pinning Holly with his Love Stealing Swinging Neckbreaker! {4.25/5}

In the next tourney match, Callous takes on Sean O'Haire. O'Haire has yet to touch the WCCW Championship, and it seems he'll have to wait as Callous took out O'Haire with a Chokeslam. {5/5}

Booker T vs Adam Pearce was everything it was expected to be, just wrestling. The match picked up around the end with Booker taking out Pearce with his Scissor Kick. {4/5}

Rocky Johnson Jr. would defeat Abdullah the Butcher very quickly, due to Abdullah's age. Despite that, the two put on a 3.75 star match. Rocky Johnson makes defense #1 of the WCCW Championship. {3.75/5}

In the main event, the finale to the Von Erich Cup! Austin and Callous went to war, with the match ending in Austin's lesser-known Stunner. {4.75/5}

After the match, Austin would cut a promo, reciting an article. He says according to Austin 3:16, he just whooped your ass! The Texas Crowd pops for the promo! {4.75/5}

Show Rating: 4.25/5

Buys: 1.36 Million

Fans Gained: 29K

Signings: The Dudley Boys!

  • Nic Nemith made his debut for WCCW against Kip Winchester (1-2). Nemith would form an allegiance with Chris Harris, with Harris. Harris would lead Nemith to the victory with Nemith's own Famouser, mocking Winchester. (3/5)
  • Dustin Rhodes {1-1} took on Lance Cade {0-1} in a exhibition match. Rhodes would take out Cade with his Love Stealing Swinging Neckbreaker! (3.25/5)
  • Post-Match, Dustin Rhodes spoke on his last injury (2007) and how it hurt him not being able to be with the fans. He told them they were the reason for his returning. It was simple, but effective (3.75/5)
  • Next up was Booker T {2-1} vs Austin Creed {0-0}. The young Creed wasn't able to overcome Booker, who laid out the rookie with a Scissor Kick (3.5/5)
  • Terry Ray Gordy (0-0) defends his WCCW Television Title against Adam Pearce (0-2). Pearce fought hard, but Gordy picked up the win with a Knee Lift into a Face Buster (3/5)
  • The Dudley Boyz (0-0 made their debut by defeating the Top Shelf Talent (0-0) with a 3D through the table. (2.5/5)
  • Rocky Johnson Jr. and Steve Austin would rekindle their legendary rivalry but cutting promos on each other. The fans were invested (3.75/5)
  • In the main event, Cody 'Nepotist' Rhodes (2-1) took on Sean O'Haire (2-1). O'Haire would end up laying out the younger star with an Apocolypse! After the match, O'Haire would mock Rhodes and hit him with a cheap Bionic Elbow (4/5).
Show Notes:
The show was a 3.25 Star Show, gaining 10.51 Million viewers. 3.3k fans were gained.

(My Notes: I've gone ahead and made up a short WCCW Title History for this universe. Will get that posted soon probably)

WCCW on PPV_ February 2010 Poster.png

(I didn't want half these guys on the poster)

  • On the preshow, Adam Pearce (0-4) took on Even Karagias (0-0). In dominating fashion, Pearce laid out Karagias with a powerslam. But Karagias would roll up Pearce afterwards for the win. (3.25/5) [Misclick on my Behalf]

  • In the WCCW Tag Team Title match, The Dudley Boyz looked to have things won. But Lance Cade, in a last-ditch effort, attacked the referee. Brew City was disqualified but retained. (2.5/5)
  • The Gate Keepers took on Southern Line. Bob Holly took on Nemith around the end which allowed Kip Winchester to hit Harris with the Famouser to win. (2.25/5)
  • Mean Mark Callous vs Sean O'Haire was next. The two had a good 20 minute encounter, which ended with O'Haire laying out Callous with a Advocator (Tornado DDT) (4.5/5)
  • The man event was a quality encounter. Rocky and Steve almost killed each other at times. Rocky Johnson hit Austin with a Rock Bottom 34 minutes in, using the ropes for some leverage. The referee never saw, and this contest was over. Rocky won is a controversial way as the show went off air. (6/5)

  • WrestleWar opened up with Brodie Lee making a promo. He calls out anyone in an open challenge for his TV Title. Out came JD Maverick, who was readying up for a fight. The match got underway. • For the main event, O'Haire was the odd man. The 3rd Wheel for the Rocky vs Steve feud. At the end, O'Haire managed to get involved after using a chair to take out Rocky. Austin would go for a Stunner, but O'Haire hit Austin with an Apocolypse onto the Chair. Before O'Haire could cover Austin, Rocky took out O'Haire. Rocky pinned Austin to retain. (5/5
