Today was the most awkward I have ever felt in my entire life.

There is nothing like walking in to work in Leaf Country being the only person who's team advanced to round 2.

Every other year is different because Toronto never makes the playoffs, but, after not making it for like 10 years, then choking in game 7, damn.....

Chicago wont win the cup.

Beat Detroit? Sure, our team is a lot weaker because most of our best guys are old. Chicago has a so so goalie. It's getting by the guys in front we have a problem with.

Gonna be a predictable win for the Hawks tonight. Howard did great only letting 1 goal in when the Hawks had over 30 shots on goal compared to 14 by the Red Wings.

Can't score when you don't actually shoot on net ffs. Absolutely disgusting that Detroit let Chicago get in on Howard so much. It isn't his fault, the guys in front are letting the enemy walk the fuck in.

I'm proud of the Blackhawks this evening. They were able to force a Game 7 and win Game 7 in overtime. I'm looking forward to their series against the Kings in the Western Conference Finals which should be another great matchup.

I have never missed the Red Wings as much as I miss them this year....already. Our team really came together in the playoffs, considering having to play through injuries, an ageing core, and inexperienced rookies.

Game 6 was ours. Anyone who watched it, and could detach themselves from the Hawks to not be biased and actually see it for what it was, knows that game was ours. That penalty shot was one of the worst calls I have seen in the 19 years I have followed the Red Wings. The Hawks played dirty at times, and got away with it. The officiating was awful.

It's not to take anything away from Chicago. There is a reason they are the top team. Just really disappointing how game 6 went down.

It is now time to sit back and watch the Kings get some sweet revenge for us and squash the Hawks <3
