The NHL Playoffs Discussion

If you're a Canadian who gets TSN, you're almost guaranteed to know the NHL Playoffs are coming up. And with that being said, discuss your picks to win the Stanley Cup, who's going to pull off upsets, who's going to beat who, and general shenanigans!

My personal pick to win the Cup this year is the Leafs (obviously), but enough about me, what do you guys think on the subject?

I'm so excited for the NHL playoffs! This is one of my favorite times of year. As a Blackhawks fan, the playoffs look a lot more promising than last year. Hopefully they can get to the Stanley Cup Finals this year

As big of a Leafs fan as I am, I don't see them getting out of the second round. It'll be Chicago out of the West, and my dark horse pick from the East are the NYR.

Flyers aren't going to be in the Playoffs so it will feel weird. I'm still going to watch some games though. I'd like to see Columbus hang on to a playoff spot and do some damage but I don't see them making it past the first round.

Yeah they're my pick too. I mean they just have a good all around team and it also doesn't hurt to have one of the best goalies in the league in Rask.

Boston doesn't have the blue line to stop Pittsburgh or Chicago. There's no way they're winning it this year.

I want the Islanders to have a deep playoff-run, but that's not so very likely! I believe, just like everyone else, that the Penguins and Blackhawks will meet in the finals and there will the Penguins win. (If they are free from injuries)

19 year die hard Red Wings fan. On cloud fucking 9 that they even got in the playoffs, let alone tied up the series.

Game 5 tonight, but, it's in Anaheim, so it starts at 10pm, and I have to go in to work early tomorrow, so I can't watch the entire game. I have a Red Wings mobile app on my phone with the game details, videos, etc., so I will have to check it for the score. Hope to hell the Wings win, man, I will explode with happiness ~~~~

I am shocked that the Leafs beat the Bruins last night! If they win the series I will be so happy I'll- well I'll say how happy I am on here!

Oh my god, my Red Wings are going to round two. Shook like crazy (yeah, I get all nervous, I love my team to death).

Chicago is gonna be hard, but, I hope we can pull it off, especially because this piece of shit keeps putting the Red Wings down on my FB page. He was on my friend list because we mod another forum, but, he was abruptly removed. My team was not suppose to make the playoffs, let alone make it as the 7th seed and knock out the 2nd seed in 7. I really don't appreciate some pile of shit constantly dumping on them. He is a Hawks fan, he seems to forget that we came pretty close to being the first team to beat him...regardless, dude is raining on my parade, hope he chokes on a sandwich.

If Detroit wins the series, I will make sure to shove it in that fat fuck's face all day long.
