Against the Browns. Whoopty fucking doo. I've seen a ton of Washington this season as a big fan of Griffin. I find it insane to discredit what Griffin has done because he has a pretty good back behind him. Take Griffin away and replace him with a league average QB and Washington is going nowhere. Take away Morris and give Washington a league average RB and they are still just fine. Because in that offense with what Griffin does an average Rb can look good.

It's like Knoshon Moreno in Denver. Has Moreno been tearing it up? You bet. But it's easy because he is playing with Peyton Manning putting him in a position to succeed and the defense playing on its heels because of Manning. Same thing in Washington. Defenses have to worry about Griffin first of all as a runner. He has 800 yards and 7 TDs rushing. He gets those with Morris at RB or anyone at RB. Not only that, but his running ability opens things up for Morris. The offense they run out of the pistol is unique and presents a lot of choices and versatility for Washington. They can disguise their runs and thus, another advantage for whoever is playing RB for them. This is because of Griffin. They can have a designed QB run, rollout, option, zone read, playaction, handoff, ect. Tons of choices all out of one formation. And when they do hand to the Rb they have open lanes not only because of the many things the defense has to be prepared for but because they have to stay in their lanes to defend against Griffin playfakes and rollouts.

And that is just defending Griffin as a runner. Griffin also has 20 TDs passing and 3,200 yards at a 65% completion rate. He doesn't turn the ball over. He is running that offense, not Alfred Morris. He is the one pulling the strings, deciding where the ball goes. If you asked any coach, GM, or player if they wanted RG3 or Alfred Morris on their team they would all say Griffin.

Again, Morris is a hoss. But Griffin is the HNIC. It's not even close really.

lol :dawg: every running back in Denver has torn it up. Did you watch them at all last year? Terrible comparision because they had Tebow. About Griffin, he is a hell of a talent but without Morris they would not be winning all of the close games throughout the year. I can argue that they weren't even that great until they started giving all the carries to morris.

I watched Denver a lot last year. Wtf does that have to do with them this year? Tebow has nothing to do with anything I said.

If you think Morris is the bees knees, awesome. You are just plain wrong if you think they are where they are without Griffin though.

What do you mean what does it have to do with them this year? They have run the ball good for two straight years. It's not like peyton manning just showed up and they suddenly got great at running. What the hell don't you see about that? Sure Peyton helps this year but it's not like out of nowhere they run good. #1 last year. THat's what the hell it has to do with it.

You're dead wrong. Your arguments don't make sense. You took it to Denfer lol Not sure how you took it there and what it has to do with Morris

Oh well agree to disagree. I'm probably in the minority about Morris and see where you are coming from. At least we agree Curry is boss, probably will be the only thing.

I'm talking about how QBs make running games better. Manning is an example of that. Tebow did the same thing. The year before that Denver was not a good running team. They had guess who: Knoshon Moreno. So Moreno sucked with a bad QB and is good with a a good QB.

But sure, keep focusing on one very tiny portion of my post and ignore everything I said about the pistol and the redskins scheme. Because I CLEARLY have no clue wtf I'm talking about lmao. Get real dude. You are delusional in your thinking

This game is already more exciting than the Ravens/Colts game.

I think you are correct in your thinking, you are just overstating it. Is Morris a big part of their success? Clearly man. He is a grinder and runs games into the ground for them. He is a beast and the more carries he gets the better he is. He wears down Ds. He is very important to them and probably doesn't get enough credit from a lot of fans. But he's not more important than RG3 lol
