Don't see how it's likely that Roman is going to be the one to beat Kofi. They are literally planting seeds for Owens and Big E to turn heel. Meanwhile Roman is going to most likely go in a fued with Orton once the Elias one is over.

Kofi wouldn't dare p*ss unless Xavier allowed it. New Day take their orders from Woods. If Owens replaced Big E it's because Woods gave his approval.
Kofi is an omega male submitted to Woods, the beta. If Big E turns, he should attack Woods only. In fact, him avoiding physical contact with Kofi would actually generate more heat for their eventual match
You clearly don't know who randy Orton is if you think he lacks charisma.
The last time Orton had charisma is around 2009-2011 if you ask me. Other than that, he always seems on auto pilot and just riding the wave to the next feud. Doesn’t care too much here or there.

Didn't know Woods was the leader. Urr he does demonstrate leadership but Kofi and Big E have always been presented as the superior members. Then again you don't have to be the best to be the leader. I see that they are all on the same level. Nobody is the leader. But obvious that's going to cause conflict.

Woods is the brains of the outfit. Big E is the fat one, Kofi is the glue and agreeable one of the group. Woods originally put the group together. New Day was his vision
I'd say they're legit friends but, in terms of kayfabe, Woods is sort of "the Architect" and unofficial spokesperson or leader

I'm pretty sure Kofi's going to lose to a cash-in, which would provide a nice contrast to his "11 year journey to the championship" and how hard he (and E & Woods) had to work for him to just be allowed to compete for the WWE Championship one-on-one, to lose it to some bloke who just won one match then cashed-in after some beatdown. I'd like to say there's no way WWE's stupid enough to undue any face reactions Roman's been getting by having him be the one to dethrone Kofi. I can see him taking it off the person who takes it off of Kofi though, trying to make people cheer for Roman by proxy of defeating the person who defeated Kofi.
