Such an original and unique movie, I really liked it. The premise was interesting and explored some interesting themes, it did a good job pulling me in with a lot of the scenes. It's a slow burn, for sure. Although I felt that it was executed well. The overall vibe of it was great and the suspenseful moments that lurk underneath a lot of the scenes kept my attention. Ralph Fiennes is the stand-out here, he is truly excellent in this role. He puts in such a commanding, complex performance with a menacing layer. Anya Taylor-Joy was fantastic as she usually tends to be and I really liked her character a lot. Honestly I wasn't sure I was going to like this movie based on the trailers and premise, it's why it took me so long to actually see it. It ended up selling me immediately though upon watching it. The direction, visual style and performances were really good.
