Goddamn, I hope that's sarcasm.

.

Yeah, it's sarcasm. They had what one or two matches after they broke up and were never seen in the same scene or the said in the same sentence again. Shame too. That feud good have elevated both guys and got them some good face/heel heat if it progressed longer. I am glad though that they didn't go the Hardy Boys route and have them become buddies again and team up back up.

^^^They did the fall-out after the title re-match, then did not feature the two of them for a week or two, Primo distracted Carlito duriing a match resulting in a loss and then they had a match a week or two later.... That was it... Pathetic... I can't even remember the match.

ANOTHER fucking waste of time, energy and 'emotion' for the crowd... I honestly don't know how they expect anyone to give a damn about their characters.

The saddest thing is the crowd used to LOVE Primo during their tag run and he's done nothing since apart from job on Superstars.

Admittedly, it was hardly a squash and can't be attributed to any 'damage' to Primo, but Carlito went over for what? .....So he could cut 1 promo on Cena without a follow up and then do even LESS than Primo.

I just can't fathom the point in splitting them up to begin with... The tag matches were often the most entertaining on a Friday night and they were nicely over.

Balls to WWE for they way they've treated EVERY one of their newly drafted Raw midcarders (aside from Miz & Kofi) in the last few years... Particularly Henry, MVP & Swagger & collectively The Worlds Ballinest Men.

Oh, herro California!
His promos are nonetheless legit. He can talk with a lisp and cut a not too shabby promo. That's talent. I use to be a huge Swagger mark. Now it just disappoints me when I see him and think what could have been

This is true. Once you get pass the lulzy sound of his talk he comes across good on the mic. It is sad that while he was in fact a champion on one brand, being involved in a successful feud with both Matt Hardy, whom he won the title from, and then paired up with the returning Christian (which I thought was going to be a mistake, but turned out rather well) they moved him to Raw where not only is he not in the Main Event picture but has not really done much of anything noticeable since his short run with MVP. But then since when have we been surprised about the lack of using talent on Raw? It just seems to me that ECW's roster is not stacked enough that they can afford to lose one of their highest caliber talents, only for him to get buried under Raw's house of cards roster. I may not be his biggest fan but I think that it would have been better both for him as a competitor, and ECW in a business sense ot have left him there.

Cody has a lisp but is still great on the mic. If you put Rhodes' promo ability in Swagger's body, he'd be main eventing already.

I used to be big on Dibiase but shallow booking kinda threw me off him and Legacy as a whole. Seeing the last few posts reminded me that Dibiase & Rhodes can and probably should be classified as Mid Carders and they are too victims of bad booking. The entire Legacy group is barely seen as a group which is really disappointing. WWE complains about needing new stars but refuse to make them when they have a shot.

I can't claim to have actually heard a lot of promos cut by Cody, as most times that I have seen Legacy on the mic it was usually Ted with the most mic time. I was big on Legacy until DiBiase took time off to make that movie, an ill advised decision in my opinion. The team itself was not established enough that it could afford to lose DiBiase at that point in time. I think creative backed themselves into a corner because I believe (and so must they) that the Legacy idea is fantastic, they just don't have anything to do with them. With the lack of legitimate tag teams on Raw (and in the WWE in general) there really isn't anything for them to do. The sad thing is, I don't know if I can actually see either of them making it as singles competitors on their own on Raw, when guys likes Swagger and MVP, who are much more established aren't going over. The only thing it seems Legacy does do is keep Orton in a semi storyline and away from the already too crowded Main Event picture. It wouldn't hurt to move Legacy as a whole over to Smackdown where there would be more legit competition for both Orton and the Legacy tag team, and allow them to actually grow as a tag team, or if need be, separate and put in work on their characters as singles competitors.

Imo, the thing that separates Raw's and Smackdown's mid cards are that on SD the division always remains fresh because main eventers with nothing to do atm step down and help some of the younger workers, ie. Jericho, Mysterio, Punk.

Which is why instead of moving guys like Swagger to Raw, or keeping Legacy, Evan Bourne, and MVP there to bury they need to rotate out and allow these guys to evolve into the new talent instead of trying to squeeze the last bit of juice out of guys who won't be around much longer.

Cody and Ted used to be so boring on the mic it was upsetting. If you want to talk about improvement, Orton (along with family members) really made me believe in these two.
