Indeed, back to Jim Cornette one of the worst writers in wrestling history.

Thoughts on Mantaur a character written under Cornette:

It was a rib on him from what he's talked about it. He had no idea he was even managing him, nor does he have control over characters Vince makes (outside of Kane, at least).

He doesn’t want to take responsibility for it, despite the fact that gimmick stuff started when he became head writer to work with Pritchard. Patterson wasn’t doing this, even Pritchard to a degree.

So how do people feel about him and the Midnight Express in 1990? I think they were terribly misused and should have been treated as the best team on the roster tbh.
