Just finished this, I loved it so much. Easily one of the best films I have seen over the past few years. The characters were so well-written and they have excellent development and growth throughout the movie. The dialogue was fantastic, it felt really natural with some genuinely really funny moments and the touching parts really hit the spot. I just love when the dialogue flows. It has a gorgeous visual style and setting, I loved it being set around Christmas. Paul Giamatti is always an actor I tend to really enjoy and he was just perfect here. This role felt like it was written for him with the way he just slips in to his character. The chemistry he has with Dominic Sessa was really good, I loved the way they bounced off each other. Da'Vine Joy Randolph was absolutely sensational. Highly recommend watching this, it will move you in a lot of ways and make you laugh as well..
