ROH is known for having 5 Wrestlemania's or Superbowl's if you will. Call them the Big Five, much like WWE in the past. One could argue any of these produces the biggest show of the year, consisently. (Anniversary Show, Supercard of Honor, Death Before Dishonor, GLory by HOnor, and Final Battle) After completling a very sucessful 9th edition of Glory by Honor, ROH looks to an major undertaking for it's 10 year anniversary! Here is a look back at Hightlights of the first 9 years!

2002 - Glory By Honor 1

Featuring stars like Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Samoa Joe, Low Ki, Paul London, Steve Corino, and more, ROH brought it all to this major show. It was highlighted by a fight without Honor match between Low Ki and a debuting Samoa Joe.

2003 - Glory By Honor 2

ROH brought in Terry Funk to challenge CM PUnk at the 2nd annual event. On top of that, one of the biggest fueds in ROH, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels went head to head for the ROH Championship! This show also features stars like AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, Raven, Mickie James, Teddy Hart, and Tyson Kidd.

2004 - Glory By Honor 3

With a growing fanbase, Mick Foley made his memorable speech about ROH being the Ring of Hardcore. Samoe Joe defended his ROH championship against Douglas Williams, The tag titles were defended in Ultimate Endurance, along with some top undercard matches which included Bryan Danielson vs. ALex Shelly, and CM Punk vs. AUstin Aries.

2005 - Glory By HOnor 4

After Mick Foley putting ROH on the wrestling map last year, ROH put the wrestling at the forefront of this show. In 2005 Bryan Danielson captured the ROH title from James Gibson, and would go on to a very sucessful reign as champ.

2006 Glory By Honor 5 (Night 1+2)

For the fifth edition of Glory by Honor, ROH split up the fun with two nights of action in one of the greatest double shots in ROH history. ROH flew in Kenta and Marifuji for this supershow. Night one was hightlighted by Marifuji and Kenta taking on the Briscoes. Night 2, which some consider one of the greatest ROH shows of all time, Danielson vs. Kenta, in one of the greatest matches in ROH history. Along with Nigel McGuiness vs. Marifuji.

2007 Glory By Honor 6 (Night 1 + 2)

The legacy continues as ROH brings in Mitsuharu Misawa, one of the greatest japanese wrestlers of all time, with 20+ 5 star matches. Night one features a battle between Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson over the "ACE of ROH" name. It also features Chris Hero challenging Nigel for the ROH gold and a dream tag team match between Misawa and Kenta vs. Marifuji and Morishima. Night 2 featured Kenta vs. Misawa, along with some major grude matches between the Briscoes and age of the fall, and Danielson and Morishima

2008 Glory By Honor 7

In 2008 ROH brought in Japan Legend Kensuke Sasaki and young star Katsuhiko Nakajima. This show featured not only the ROH Title, but also the NWA championship, FIP championship and the GHC Jr. championship. Truely a supershow, with a steel cage warfare match to main event!

2009 Glory by Honor 8

Another one of ROH greatest show, which features the farewell of ROH legends, Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness, who face off in the main event. THis show also features the second ladder war featuring the AMerican Wolves vs. Steenerico in one of the most antipated match of 2009

2010 Glory By Honor 9

In the traditional of GBH, ROH brought in the worlds greatest tag team to challenge the King of Wrestling, so figure out who really is the best tag team in the world today. Roderick Strong Challenge TYler Black for the ROH championship, and the brutal war between El Generico and Kevin Steen continued in a chain match.

I was in attendance for Glory By Honor 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 9. I had to miss GBH VIII due to my brother's wedding.

I really loved GBH 4 because of Danielson vs. Gibson but of course GBH 5 had KENTA vs. Danielson and both nights of GBH 6 were spectacular. Its a tough call.

Glory by Honor 4 is the only one i haven't seen yet. I've been trying to catch it on ebay for a while now, but it normally goes for a little more than i want to spend. I try not to pay over 10$ a dvd, although i'm about down to some of the shows that are more expensive.

I liked Glory By HOnor 5 night 2 too. From a wrestling standpoint, that double main event is hard to beat, and probably one of my favorite all time ROH shows.
