To be honest, the future of TNA's World Title picture doesn't look good. I have a bad feeling about where TNA is headed with it, and I'm not excited. Here is the scenario I see happening:

AJ Styles keeps the belt at Final Resolution, he goes on to defend at Genesis against Kurt Angle. Angle will end up beating AJ to become the new World Champion. AJ will get a rematch on iMPACT! where he loses again, this transitions to a Bobby Lashley/Kurt Angle feud. Lashley won that Thanksgiving tourny to become number 1 contender, and I've heard about how TNA has been waiting to set up Angle vs Lashley for a while now. The feud extends into Lockdown, where Kurt Angle loses to Lashley inside Six Sides Of Steel in some shitty MMA style match.

I was heavily convinced that Sting was going to beat AJ at BFG this year, that ended up not happening, so my track record isn't too good when predicting TNA's future. However, this scenario is very possible and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Thoughts?

I hate the idea of AJ Styles losing the title at any point in the near future considering how poorly he has been booked since he won the title. He has proven to be an after thought on pretty much every Impact when he should pretty much be the main focus because he's the damned world champion.

Taking the belt off him at any point now will ensure that he pretty much never wins it again because as much as the fans love him, he still looks like a chump.

That said, he'll drop the title to Desmond Wolfe on the PPV after this upcoming one as I see Wolfe beating Angle in their three stages of hell or whatever it's called match.

Yeah, the only way I see Angle taking the belt off AJ at this point is if AJ defends the belt in some multi-man match. I think Wolfe is going to beat Angle at this ppv, and since Angle loses I assume (and hope) that he wouldn't be granted a title match. So it should be Wolfe that gets the title match. But then Lashley won the Thanksgiving Tournament so that may make it a 3 way. Angle somehow gets his self in the match (if he isn't dealing with Foley/Jarrett/Hogan.

AJ has become champ at a time where he isn't the focal point of the company. That's the worst part.
