This is the documentary for me. Found footage has always been a guilty pleasure genre for me. A lot of the movies were super bad but I loved it. :lol Blair Witch was legitimately creepy as hell when it came out.

Shudder is worth giving a go. It's super cheap, and they got some pretty good stuff on there. Their originals can be hit or miss, but this looks awesome.

I love Shudder, it gave me Blood Quantam. I don't fucks with any other horror movies unless it's Shudder.

The Blair Witch Project was one of Found Footage Films that used it effectively and I've seen plenty others drop the Ball with the idea or use in Films or TV over the Years. Shoot even the first Paranormal Activity film terrified me to the point it was hard for me to sleep for about a Week after I saw the Film.

I think VHS is one of the best examples of using the concept well recently. Especially the first and second movies, they had some really creepy and well done segments. Also a good plot for the reason the tapes were being discovered.

There are a few very good movies that used this technique but I'm glad the time when they released one of these every three weeks is over. Most of them were cheap, boring movies with shaky cam.

The best ones are Blair Witch, Cloverfield and the two first Rec movies imo.
