The Game of The Year games you have, none of 'em are my personal GOTY, TBH. Perhaps I'm biased (well, everyone is), but mine is Lost Odyssey. I LOVED that game more than anything I've played this year. I'm surprised you didn't include Fallout 3 or any of the Rock games for GOTY, though Fallout 3 is too sterile and the music act is getting old, IMO.

Lost Odyssey is very underrated. The game was good but at a certain point it became “meh” to me. It still deserves better reception. But most American reviewers always underrated non popular jrpg. I also think it has a better story then MGS4.

Everybody is biased(props for admitting it), even multi console owners have some bias in them.

I try to be as unbiased as possible, but i'll always love the PS3.

Hehe. I'll love the system where the games are, and for me, as of now, 360 is the console I love. Once I buy a PS3, it might change, or a Wii even. Your handheld games of the year are pretty solid, though I'm surprised you didn't include Crisis Core, since you're such a FFVII guy.

360 is arguably the best choice. A wide variety of games to choose from and its at a cheap price. I doubt it'll change, most 360 owners I know who have bought a PS3 still prefer the 360 for obvious reasons. I like the Wii but I hate the state the Wii is in currently. Crisis Core came out last year.

I'm such a FFVII fanboy, I already plan on importing a Japanese PS3 with Advent Children Complete+FFXIII demo in March 2009.

Not even quality titles like Wii Music, and Wii Fit?

Wow, you have high standards for good games. I thought it couldn't get any better then Wii Music.

LOL... I don't know why you even included Wii Music. Wii Fit, I can understand, but WII MUSIC? Bubsy 3D > Wii Music.

To not have Fallout 3 a nominee for GOTY is unacceptable. Change that ASAP. Also some more ideas for categories are Best video game character and Most forward game your looking forward to 09. Just a few ideas for nominee if you want to include it would obviously be Snake,Fenix,Nathan Hale, and Sackboy for best video game character. Killzone 2,God of War 3,Halo 3 Recon, and inFAMOUS all should be nominees for most forward game in 09. Just a few ideas include it if you want it doesn't really matter.

Resident Evil 5, if you're gonna include Game of '09 to look forward to, should be included. Diablo 3 as well if you're a PC buff, and maybe Dragon Age Origins.

I'm tired, been out shopping all day. You can really tell the bad economy is taking effect. Black Friday was horrible, unlike the past few years.

It was like a normal day in the store only with crazy sales.
