-- The "fan" who interfered in the Randy Orton vs. John Cena match at Summerslam was Brett DiBiase, according to PWInsider.com.

Currently performing for Florida Championship Wrestling under a WWE Developmental deal, Brett is Legacy Member Ted DiBiase, Jr.'s younger brother (and wrestling legend Ted DiBiase, Sr.'s son).

Hope they don't try to play it as if it was an actual fan. Hope they reveal it was Dibiase, and have him join legacy.

Seems like if they used someone like Brett it's defenitly part of a storyline with him getting revealed and if so can't wait to see where this goes.

Fuck! I thought it was real, dammit, especially since they did not show that part on the immediate reply like it did not happen.

But anyways - I think this will be to get Ted outta legacy for his face turn and have this guy replace him as the supposed 'better' dibiase.

At 1st glance it seems as though it's real, but they kept the camera on "the fan" too long. They usually avoid showing the fan when they interfer. But they kept the camera on him as he was in the ring, as he got dragged out of the ring, and they showed him up the ramp. Lawler even talked about the guy on commentary. Since when do they do that? And finally they mentioned the guy on WWE.com. That's all that's really needed to know that the guy was a plant.

It made it seem real how Orton and Cena looked when he came in, as well as them not showing the guy's interferrence during the reply, but the face that they showed up going up the ramp and on WWE.com it's a plant.

Ya know... I reallly thought this was real... that would've been a shocker, but all in all it was a good twist and I hope he makes his entrance into Legacy sometime soon

STOOOOOP with the Ted face turn shit please..lol. These guys are finally getting some momentum as an actual team and as HEELS and people are stil obsessed with the prospect of him going face. He's already promoting the Marine 2 at conventions and shit, and he hasn't gone face. It really doesn't matter.

ANYWAY... it doesn't seem like an accident that they'de use someone directly related to a member of Legacy for this little run in. Had they wanted to keep it portrayed as a fan I'm sure they would have just payed some random schmo 300 bucks to do it. I wouldn't be shocked if they revealed him tonight as the attacker.

The thing that stumps me is if he is with "Legacy" or with "Orton" now I know they are in teh same group but it is different, hear me out. If he was trying to help "Legacy" and be revealed as Ted's brother, why didn't he run in during the DX match and try and help his brother win? or at least come in with a chair go nuts and have DX win via DQ making it a handicap match at a later date. That would seem more reasonable, other then just ignoring his brother and helping Orton instead. Just doesn't make sense, why didn't he run earlier when he would help out Ted?

Because Legacy has always been all about Orton. Hell..they're rarely even seen together anymore. They're more like an alliance than a stable at this point.

Because Orton had more to win than Legacy did. The DX vs Legacy was just a tag match. A standard tag match. Though you wouldn't know it by the entrance that DX got. None of the champs got any type of special entrance but DX, no they get.... sorry about that. Back to the subject, Orton had his title at stake. Thus the reason why the "fan" interferred during that match.

But when you think about it, Orton didn't really need the fan. He beat Cena 3 times without him in one night.

EDIT: Did anybody else read the report that when Brett DiBiase came in, he was choking the shit out of the ref that the guys face was turning all red. lol

How did Orton beat Cena when he got DQ'd, Counted out, and then finally got a dirty pinfall? Seems like he actually ended the night with 2 losses, and 2 wins. Not beating Cena 4 times in a row. Retaining the title? Yes. But losing twice none the less.

Really dont think Legacy should've announced that t was him. I would've much rather had Mayweather, Cena, or DX point it out so it would've looked like they were accusing them on cheating.

Thoughts?

Yeah you're right. But he did keep his title. He may have lost the match twice, but he won the war 4 times as he was still the champ after each one. Aparently he was the "New WWE champion" after the 1st loss though.... or was it the second loss? The DQ or the countout, one of them he was the new champ.
