His accent in Blood Diamond was fucking horrendous.

He played a african american or a american african :48: lawl. It's nothing you'd see from someone who does impressions but it's impressive that he could take on a role like that and not have anything taken away from the movie. You can Tell he actually studys the role and picks the one's he finds interesting and difficult

I have to agree that Paul Giamatti should be in that movie. He's one of the most talented and funniest actors I've seen in quite some time. Highly underrated too, his roles in Cinderella Man, John Adams, Sideways, Shoot Em Up, and Duplicity were superb. He'd make a pretty damn good Penguin if you ask me!

Thank fuck, no Mr. Freeze. I'd mark for the Riddler, though. Crispin Glover, plz.

The death of Brittney Murphy dashed my hopes for Harley Quinn.

I always thought Zooey deschanel as Harley Quinn would be sick. with too much eyeliner and some acne from crackhead scratching shit would be a trip within itself. That character also has the highest probability of making it into the film since it hasn't been done and is storyline relevant.

sounds guud to me and you can still use the chemistry and likeness of Joker/batman

Here's my thoughts:

Theres been rumors of them wanting to go the Catwoman route and trying to get Angelina "Movie Killer" Jolie to play the part.

FAIL

I've also read (just internet rumors, doesn't mean anything) that Guy Pearce, Crispin Glover and Johnny Depp are being considered for The Riddler. (I think Crsipin Glover or Guy Pearce would be AWESOME)

There's also been speculation on worstpreviews.com
people close to Nolan claim that the new movie may use the comic book storyline where The Pengiun is a deformed Eastern European international arms dealer, and pushes into Gotham following the crackdowns post-Joker. The name considered for The Pengiun? Philip Seymour Hoffman
. WIN!

I think that The Riddler would be awesome in the sequel tbh. Next to the Joker he was always the Batman villian that I always found pretty interesting. Some of the others like Mr. Freeze, The Penguin and Two Face were good villians but they never had that subtle thing, that I cannot put my finger on that makes you almost want to root for the bad guy, something that The Riddler and The Joker both have imo

Riddler is most likely the next villian. No Penguin, DeVito did a good enough job and Hoffman is too tall. Nolan hasn't really done much CGI, which is a good thing, for the Batman movies so far and every other villian I see heavy CGI being used.

His accent in Blood Diamond was fucking horrendous.

What did you think of his Boston accent in The Departed and Shutter Island?

Keep in mind though that the Danny DeVito Penguin was the "classic" representation of the Red Triangle Circus Gang Penguin that grew up in the sewers of Gotham and actually took on a "Penguin" appearance.

Even though I haven't read the newer, comic book version, I think the Philip Seymour Hoffman "Eastern European Arms Dealer" Penguin would be pretty normal looking, (and would be a normal height), save for the Polydactyly type hands or .

(I had a friend who actually read the comics I'm talking about and he described the character in detail) I kinda hope they use this character. I think it'd be awesome.
