That's true but one of his main goals is to wrestle AJ at WrestleMania and AJ is not getting any younger.. He could be retired in a year or 2.

True, I don't think he will retire under 2 years tho, but we never know...

Most fans don't know who Omega is accept by name. Knowing wwe they probably debut him not knowing he's character.

Nothing worse then being a casual wwe fan and thinking who the fuck is this guy?

You gotta introduce these indy guys properly so the bloody casual fans know what they are all about.

Yeah that's another good point, as great as Kenny Omega is, he doesn't have the AJ Styles credentials that AJ had when he made his debut during the Royal Rumble.

Its quite remarkable that AJ had so much success so quick. So maybe Kenny will work.

Well AJ was on TV for so many years in TNA and NJPW afterward, he was already a superstar, with Kenny I think it's different because now with the internet lots of people know about him more than you might think. He would probably get a good pop as a Royal Rumble entrant.

I don't even know what fans wwe have anymore. Majority of fans nowadays are just smarks.

AEW has good financial backing, but they still don't have WWE money. So only time will tell if Kenny wants to help out his friends and elevate their new promotion or take the money and try to dominate the scene in WWE. Because if they're really offering him as much money as people are raving about, then I'm sure they're gonna have solid plans for him, just like they had with AJ Styles. Because let's not forget, besides winning the WWE title in the first year with the company, Styles was also one of the highest paid wrestlers of 2016.

One way or another, as the biggest draw outside of the E, whoever gets Omega under contract will definitely have a huge chunk of wrestling fans following him wherever he goes

They didn’t have solid plans with AJ though. Vince was beyond skeptical of him from the start and said he has tons of starts who can do what he does. He said what he needed is a pit bull. A star who can do what he does but go crazy with it. Not everyone can do that, but AJ proved he could. Vince’s “plans” with AJ didn’t really exist.

Sure, they paid him a lot to come, but Vince wasn’t impressed for a while with him at all, just as I’m sure he might not be so high on Kenny until he proves he can grab that brass ring.

If this whole AEW thing wasnt happening, I guarantee we would see Omega in WWE. But now that AEW is a thing, i dont think Omega would want to snub his friends and his indy fans by signing with WWE. But hey, who knows, WWE could wave a multimillion dollar contract in his face and get him to sign.

well, wanting a newly signed wrestler to work hard is the least Vince can ask for. He's obviously not gonna let someone like Styles sit back and start main eventing PPVs. But as soon as Styles arrived, he always had a program or a feud to concentrate on and never felt like he was just floating around in the midcard like so many other wrestlers do. Vince might have been skeptical, but Styles was still in safe hands with an immediate feud against Jericho, which transitioned into a really good WWE title program against Reigns right after Mania, which then led to the stuff with Cena.
We all know what Vince can do if he really doesn't wanna push someone, so I doubt he was against Styles automatically succeeding but moreso just wanted him to not take his push for granted.

And as far as money goes, if they pay a wrestler a lot of money, (more times than not) they're gonna make sure that it was somehow worth it to them. Something slightly similar happened with Ziggler this year, because when he signed his new 2-year million dollar deal back in February, all of a sudden he was back on TV in early April accompanied by Drew, got to win the IC/Tag titles with him and even main evented a PPV against Rollins. Not saying that it revived his career because now he seems to be falling from grace again, but for that time period he felt like he was worth the money they paid him
