Well there has only been 2 portrayals of Joker since Ledger and 50% of that has been excellent

Jared Leto is an excellent actor but his material was bad, his portrayal was bad and his attempts at "method acting" fell flat and just sound pathetic.

If it wasn't asking Christian Bale to full on punch him then it isn't method acting

Method acting is stupid, its acting for a reason.

The only time Method Acting works if it is like reading up on the role you're playing.

I'm not saying it doesn't produce stellar performances but it still is silly and taken to extreme heights.

I've not looked much into it but I don't think method acting had a role in his death

It was heroin od from what I heard. but it might be like a pain relief for the punches, it's a shame that he passed away as he looked like a promising director and also he would of made an amazing actor in other stuff presumably
