I was already kinda familiar with him. I know someone who I'm pretty sure listened to nobody else but Nick Cave and Bob Dylan all throughout high school

His music is pretty diverse. I like his post-punk, gothy, darker stuff like that though.

It was funny because we both always had music turned up way too loud, you'd hear Nick Cave or Bob Dylan from him and I would have Burzum or Behemoth or Leviathan going and it'd just blend together

I remember one day we had a substitute teacher who liked black metal, which was the fucking coolest thing ever
