in large part because mama Baba allowed Tenryu to come back, and Inoki being nice to his old best friends widow

I doubt New Japan or any other company could survive 3 exoduses. I'm not really a fan, but I really respect their spirit.

Mokota Baba (widow of the All Japan founder), allowed Tenryu (ex top star who was exiled after getting in a fight with old Baba) to come back with his promotion

he basically killed his own company to save the company that made him

And Inoki allowed All Japan to borrow talent for 2 years afterwards as a way to help the widow of his old friend and tag partner get back on her feet
