The most valuable thing in the game is probably inventory slots. You can upgrade your suits so it has more slots but you gotta get a new ship, to get more slots, which also means reinstalling upgrades

Which means more mineral gathering

So if you spend all this time gathering for an upgrade, then get a new unit, you have to do it all over again? Seems pretty grindy

Yep it is. So when you want a new ship it better be a good one

I'm sure I saw a post that said the starting level stuff was better than the stuff you get later on.

Plus there was a gltich where upgrading something just made it worse
