My first RPG runs tend to be me lurching from one disaster to another ngl.

I found the combat in the first game just sluggish and unresponsive, to the point where it made me lost interest in the game.

Is it standard hack and slash, MMO click 'n wait?

It's like, timing based hack and slash that doesn't do what you want it to half the time

Witcher 2 wasn't even 2 years later iirc and the improvements seemed crazy

Totally, there's limitless potential as to what they could do regarding augments/implants

Really liked Witcher 3's combat, needs strategy and is very unforgiving

I got to third island on The Witcher 3 and was burnt out enough to never touch it again

also coming off of playing Bloodborne and Dark Souls and shit, the combat was dreadful

As long as the combat feels better than the first game, that sounds great. I tend to dislike "mash the attack button until the enemy dies, repeat" style of combat

The Witcher was hyped up to be this incredible game but man oh man did it not deliver, imo.
