Seems like a cheap attempt to make the game even harder. I'd rather deal with a hard enemy or a boss fight.

I have seen like 3 guys that resemble souls guys, everyone else just looks like a bloodborne character.

They definitely ramped up the difficulty a bit. Those venom symbiote dudes are a struggle

The giant has been the closest one so far, looks straight like the one from 2

I still haven't interacted with him yet, was edging to do it when I just signed off

DS3 runied the feel of the game for me. I don't want to fight any of the guys in the game anymore, they are all just too much hassle

I prefered the simple and annoying guys from Souls 1

Dancer of Borreal is the only boss that actually felt considerably stronger than any of the other runts.

It's supposed to be about patterns, but they always switch up what they. It's not hard, just annoying
