Had The Beatles stayed as the 1D of their time (British hearthrobs) I don't think they would have been looked back on nearly as fondly. gotta admit I do like their more experimental stuff.

Pearl Jam is good with Ten and every here and there. Still think Soundgarden was my favorite from the whole grunge scene.
