I think that him saying that he wouldn't buy any pills was a threat, but if you'd be like ''yeah cool don't want pills'', I'm sure that he'd probably force you since he beat you up as well

And I'd do it because sometimes he'd hold out on me, and if you've ever known someone going through heroin withdrawals, it's apparently not all that different

I think emotional abuse is worse for me, tbh. I was once manipulated into being a side bitch because he convinced me the girl he was with was secretly a lesbian and they were just pretending to be together because the girl's parents would supposedly kill her if she were lesbian and I bought that crap.

I hate to say this because I know how bad physical abuse can be but I would rather be punched than abused emotionally. I was in two emotionally damaging relationships back to back where I was manipulated and it is horrible.
