I dunno why I'd never really checked them out before. I always saw the name but just hadn't listened to them.

Sometimes I even dismiss them for whatever reason, then later I become a fan

A lot of times I'll hear a band's newer stuff, and think they suck. I'll find out years later their old stuff is amazing.

I always kind of ignored Teitanblood then they becaome one of my favorite bands ever

Dismissed King Diamond's stuff because Mercyful Fate was just so amazing, didn't think anything could compare. etc

I ignore people's side projects and stuff too because I don't like whatever their main band is

And then I later wish I checked them out, like the dude from As I Lay Dying

I don't like that band, but he had a side project called Austrian Death Machine which is hilarious, and then recorded an EP with a band called Pyrithion before he got arrested

Oh yeah, I remember Austrain Death Machine haha. Funny indeed. Not bad either, pretty straight forward thrash

The third album that was finished before he got arrested and was released afterwards is the best one
