I think wrestling fans nowadays are so fixated on finishing moves that it can make the crowd silent if Rusev would just win with a kick for example

however, if you look at it in a long-term deal, obviously it makes the moves more important

I think finishing kick-outs is something that should happen less often as well but I guess that's just the evolution of the beast as they say

yeah but you can't even really compare wrestling from then and wrestling from now with stuff like that

I mean the idea is still the same and psychology from then (which was much better imo, don't wanna sound like a ''spot-monkey HATER!'' but oh well) would still work now

Like nowadays, in a minute. You could see: a piledriver, a dragon Suplex, a decapitating lariat, a bicycle kick, a suplex, a move off the top rope etc.
