In my area, nerd and intelligent are interchangeable. If somebody calls you a nerd, they are basically admitting that you're smarter than them.

I haven't really let on how enrdy I am but I doubt anyone would care. I do find myself talking about music a lot though

well tbf I have one guy on my school that's also a wrestling fan and he's pretty much the only guy that I like
