You're not missing out on anything. It's a horrible main event with an even worse more ridiculous build to it.
After a year of this fat blob lumbering around doing nothing but throwing the worst punches ever seen in wrestling we're supposed to believe he belongs in the Mania main event. I seriously cannot fathom a single element show can add to this match aside from slowing it down and getting in the way.

They just didn't want to have another Cena vs Edge so they throw in big fatty.

They've got another Orton/HHH and they managed to make that fresh and interesting.

I think they are going to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and have Cena win and then make out with Vickie dead center in the ring at Mania. That's WWE's speed alright.

I was actually loling my ass off at the end of the segment on Raw. And wow, if Cena turned heel at the end of this, that would be fucking epic. Seriously.. it could actually work too, with VICKIE.

It's just like last year's Triple Threat Match.

-Cena was going in returning from injury and winning the Royal Rumble (valid statement to actually win at Mania)

-Triple H returning from injury after missing the last year's WrestleMania (valid statement to actually win at Mania)

-Orton was just the champ and nobody really cared if he won or lost.

WWE couldn't decide who to give the belt to because it was fair game between Cena and HHH. Notice the same trend this year?

-Edge loves Vickie.

-Big Show loves Vickie.

-Cena is just there for the hell of it.

WWE won't be able to decide whether it's Edge or Big Show, so they screw everyone over and have Cena win. Either he FU's Vickie at the end of Mania or he has teh sickest makeout session of a lifetime.

I'm sadly, actually excited as fuck now as to the possibility of him turning heel at the end of WM 25... think of how memorable that would be, it would be insane. But after I'm let down, I'm sure I'll be back to tell you how much that match/storyline sucked.

Hey guys i found this online.

John Cena and Edge have had a long and storied history. So much so that Cena's scheduled encounter with Edge and Big Show at WrestleMania XXV will be his 34th televised bout with the "Rated-R Superstar" — at the very least.

Cena has already had four singles matches with Edge on pay-per-view — all title matches.

New Year's Revolution 2006 - Edge beat John Cena to become the new WWE Champion
Royal Rumble 2006 - John Cena beat Edge to become the new WWE Champion
SummerSlam 2006 - Edge beat John Cena to become the new WWE Champion
Unforgiven 2006 - John Cena beat Edge to become the new WWE Champion

Cena and Edge have also had three other multiple person matches on pay-per-view (and another one on television) with the title at stake.

Backlash 2006 - WWE Champion John Cena beat Edge and Triple H
07/03/06 RAW - Edge defeated WWE Champion Rob Van Dam and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match to become the new WWE Champion
Backlash 2007 - WWE Champion John Cena beat Edge, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton
No Way Out 2009 - Edge defeated WWE Champion John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Mike Knox and Kane to become the new WWE Champion

They've had ten one-on-one encounters on free television — at the very least.

01/30/06 RAW - Edge defeated WWE Champion John Cena by disqualification
02/16/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge
06/12/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge by disqualification
07/15/06 Saturday Night's Main Event - John Cena defeated WWE Champion Edge by disqualification
10/02/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge in Steel Cage match
12/18/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge
12/25/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge
06/11/07 RAW - World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated WWE Champion John Cena
06/23/08 RAW - John Cena defeated World Heavyweight Champion Edge
03/16/09 RAW - World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated John Cena

At the very least, they've had fifteen more encounters through tag team matches on television.

09/19/05 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Big Show and Matt Hardy defeated Edge, Kurt Angle, Gene Snitsky and Chris Masters
10/10/05 RAW - Edge, Kurt Angle and Carlito defeated WWE Champion John Cena, Big Show and Shawn Michaels.
01/23/06 RAW - John Cena and Ric Flair defeated WWE Champion Edge and Chris Masters
02/06/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena and Maria defeated Edge and Lita in a Mixed Tag Team Match
04/03/06 RAW - Triple H and Edge defeated WWE Champion John Cena in a Handicap match
04/10/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena and Triple H defeated Edge in a Handicap match
07/24/06 RAW - John Cena and Ric Flair defeated WWE Champion Edge and Johnny Nitro
09/04/06 RAW - WWE Champion Edge, Lita, and Randy Orton defeated John Cena, Trish Stratus and Carlito
09/11/06 RAW - John Cena, Jeff Hardy and Carlito defeated WWE Champion Edge, Randy Orton and Johnny Nitro
09/18/06 RAW - Edge, Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade defeated WWE Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels and Triple H by disqualification
11/20/06 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Ric Flair defeated Edge, Randy Orton, Big Show and Kenny
01/29/07 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena and Shawn Michaels defeated Edge and Randy Orton to win the World Tag Team Championships
02/15/07 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena, Undertaker, Batista and Shawn Michaels defeated Edge, Randy Orton, Montel Vortimus Porter and Mr. Kennedy
02/26/07 RAW - World Tag Team Champions John Cena and Shawn Michaels defeated Edge and Randy Orton
04/16/07 RAW - WWE Champion John Cena defeated Edge and Randy Orton in a Handicap match

This list doesn't include post-RAW dark matches or bouts at house shows.

I just don't want cena vs edge in anyway again. They have fought so many times. I'm hoping this is the last encounter for ever lol.

So if two guys put on good matches together and always put on interesting feuds, they must stop immediately?

Half of those matches were tag team or just random filler anyway.

BTW, Edge did not beat Cena at Summerslam 2006 to become the new WWE Champion. He was already the WWE Champ.

Edge vs Cena matches, they have had a few good ones, one of them were just amazing but I don't remember which, the TLC one also wasn't bad but when they do just a regular singles match then yeah it gets boring and seeing them over and over is annoying like the CM Punk vs William Regal for what? A month maybe?

Over and over? Lol, we only saw them in a feud in 2006, and since then, if they have been in so many matches, it has been in filler tag matches.

To say you have been seeing them over and over again is truly a lie

Maybe that night Vickie will reveal that she is pregnant, and she doesn't know who the father is. Granted they have done this pregnancy angle at least twice that I can remember, I'd still get a laugh out of it.
