I'm not gonna go and say I don't like the whole angle revolving around Vickie, cause really, I don't mind it. I think it gives a bit more meaning to the feud between Cena, Edge, and Show. But it's strange. Sometimes I'll watch, and think it adds to the match that they'll all have at Mania, and sometimes I just can't get into the storyline.
Does anyone think the feud between these three would've been fine without this twist, or do you think it was needed?
I, for one, am glad it's not the same old "Edge, big Show will face you at Mania", followed by Cena coming out and demanding a rematch, so I don't have any problems with it. It at least gives a bit of background to the feud. But what's everyone here think of it? Was the twist needed?

Just like I year, I could have had this feud with Vickie/Big Show and Edge alone. John Cena seems as an unnecessary third wheel.

As for the storyline itself, it tends to get a little cheesy

I have no problem with this storyline what so ever. It is actually quite entertaining.

You look at the whole "seriousness" that both Edge and Show want Vickie which turns out to be quite funny then you throw in John Cena who points out the obvious things you are already laughing at which makes you laugh even more. This rivalry spells gold.

Plus, these three are all complete opposites which might make out for quite the triple threat match. I mean Cena/Orton/HHH from last year was pretty weak because they were all around the same sort of wrestler, this year they are completely different. Different is always good.

Plus this actually makes people cheer Cena which is always good.

I'm kind of tired of the whole Edge/Vickie thing period. Part of me hopes Vickie turns on him and goes with the Big Show but then it'll be the same ole thing over again. Same song, same band, different singer.

Then again they are suppose to be major changes with the draft the Monday after Wrestlemania so you never know. Vince supposibly wants to buff up Raw and make Smackdown more of the training grounds. If this is true I'm not sure what will happen to ECW or maybe you start at ECW then move up to Smackdown.

At first I thought it was stupid, but I've begun to understand the reasoning now.

This match would make no sense as Edge vs Show vs Cena without it, it may as well be a Handicap match. Now with this angle, Show and Edge both have a reason to go after each other.

Although Edge vs Cena or Edge vs Show > Edge vs Cena vs Show

I have a feeling that Cena's gonna win the belt at Mania, get drafted to Smackdown, and face a new challenger there (maybe Undertaker in a face/face fued). Edge and Big Show will start a fued, and will have a few PPV matches, resulting in a Big Show face turn.

I seriously cannot fathom how people are pegging Cena as the third wheel in this feud. Edge stole the title from Cena at NWO. Big Show has simply been lumbering around doing jack shit all year. Suddenly, since Show is the last surviving remnant of La Familia with absolutely nothing interesting to do at Mania we see him inserted into the WHC feud....WTF!?!?
This match would have been perfectly fine if just left as Cena/Edge. There was nothing wrong with it AT ALL. Edge once again prevailed as the slick mofo he is by stealing the title in the elim chamber. How they factored Big Show into this whole thing is beyond me.
Show's in ring work as of late is simply horrific. How they even think that a guy who barely draws any fucking heat or face reaction deserves to be main eventing Mania is beyond my comprehension.
Sure, this whole Edge/Vickie thing has definately run it's course. But to come to such a fucking corny end at such an important PPV as Mania is just assinine. Do we really need a shitty comedy angle of security cameras catching Show slapping Vicky's ass inserted into a feud that is supposed to be the second biggest draw at Mania? What purpose...or even what element could he possibly add to this match? We know Cena and Edge can run amazing programs together...it's been proven. They carried RAW together for the better part of...2006? I believe...sorry if I'm wrong.
Show has no business in this feud or anywhere near the main event of Mania.
Cena is obviously getting the strap so why not just run this as a shitty mid year PPV angle where Edge and Vickie split?

^^^Big Show wasn't part of La Familia.... He came on the scene, being supportive of Vicki when Edge was 'in hell' following Summerslam.

Big Show's part in this storyline began around the same time which in fact means his involvement pre-dates this latest chapter of Cena/Edge.

What I can't fathom is how they're gonna book themselves past this Edge/Show/Vicki triangle... We've already seen Edge turn on Vicki pre-HIAC w/Taker and this did nothing for either of their heel/face positioning... Show has been fucking with Edge for months and that hasn't even turned him tweener (at least in terms of crowd responses).... It feels like it's gonna take another candid-camera style revelation or a momentus swerve...

What they gonna do, have Vicki all but handing Cena the title at some point and in fact turn HIM heel?

...For me this has become the most intriguing part of the fued, which right now, is ok, but as many have already stated all it's all a bit 2nd-rate-PPV.

I think the match itself will deliver.

Cena and Orton are walking out of Mania both as champs.

Cena will win and then FU or "Attitude Adjustment" Vickie G. at the end of the match and everyone will be like "YEH! JoHnZ~CeEnaa!~"

^^^ I was saying that Cena will emerge out of this Vickie mess with the title at Mania and FU her getting out of that entire debacle leaving Edge and Show picking up the scraps. I am never off topic :)

I'm expecting another twist (now that Vickie's got some kind of love of her life walking out with the title at Mania shit going on).

I wouldn't be surprised if Cena won and hooked up with Vickie...

^That would be the dumbest thing the WWE would have done. The whole Vickie thing is starting to piss and gross me out... I'm getting a bit sick of it

^^Me too. There's something I missing that the rest of the members are getting. I don't like it. Edge and Vickie is old and boring. Big Slow has gained all of his weight back and has no business in any main event...ever!
