“TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE”
Episode Three [Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Long Beach, California]
Lucha Underground x Wrestling Smarks third episode of their return would see the promotion host their first show a number of weeks and would remain in California State heading down to Long Beach. The show would begin with the back and forth commentary duo of Hip Daddy Gip and Beef Chops welcoming the fans to the show. There was quite a buzz with the fact that tonight the fans would be treated to not one, but two qualification matches for the future Border Crossing Death Match.
+ Beef Chops +
“You excited for tonight Junior? Tonight we are going to see some wrestling old school wrestling, mark my words!
+ Hip Daddy Gip +
“Are you sure Gramps? What is so special about tonight that was present on either of the previous two cards? What match tonight stands out so much that you are this excited?”
+ Beef Chops +
“Well it has got to be tonight’s No Disqualification match between Saint Diego and El Brody. Neither of these two are fighting for anything apart from pride for themselves and hatred for their opponent and this is what good old school wrestling is all about. Don’t you agree?
There is a pause of silence as Hip Daddy Gip is texting on his phone and looks up.
+ Hip Daddy Gip +
“Oh, were you still speaking old man?”

Singles Match
vs
Summary
- The first match of the night would see last week’s Lucha Scramble winner Big Smoky take on the opponent that the fans had decided for him, Kid Bino Castor. The match would begin with Kid Bino Castor starting fast and hard and would clearly be looking to impress on his debut match and bring the fire to Smoky by attempting to the finish the match early with his signature move Kid Shock [(Right-handed thrust to an opponent's throat], but rather than attempt to finish the contest the youngest member of the Castor family would clamber up onto the turnbuckle and make derogatory gestures at the fans and would be yet another great representative for the most infamous family working current for Lucha Underground.
- Big Smoky would get back into the swing of things though and offer some hard hits to his opponents and really look to work out some of his own frustration out on Bino, at one point he had flipped his opponent upside down and had his legs hooked over the ring ropes and would drop to his knee and start working Castor’s over like a pig’s carcass in the butcher shop. A distraction from Old Dragon Castor, would give Kid Bino the breathing to recover from the tough position he had found himself in.
- The match would end with Old Dragon Castor still providing interference and distractions at ringside, but it would be counterproductive and it would seem to get in Kid Bino’s head that would cause him to make a mistake by springing off the ropes and being caught in mid-air by Smoky before laid by the North Carolina and be nailed with the BS Slam to claim the victory.
Winner: Big Smoky
- Smoky would celebrate the victory knowing he had booked himself a spot in the future championship match that everyone in the promotion was hoping to be part of.

El Brody was in the gorilla position ahead of his match with Saint Diego and would have a few choice words to say.
+ El Brody +
“There is nothing worse in this business than a tag team partner that blames his shortcomings on everyone but himself. Well tonight we fight with no rules protecting you from the beating I am going to give you, so you better drop to your knees and pray real quick because this could end up being the last night you spend on this green planet earth, hey holmes!”

No Disqualification Match
vs
Summary
- Diego and El Brody would start the match with real intention of hurting each other, and this would evident when Saint Diego would leap up into the air and raise an elevated knee directly into El Brody’s chin that would leave the masked luchador wobbly on his feet, but would show smarts by sliding out of the ring to avoid putting himself in a position of further vulnerability.
- Diego though would let the pressure of his opponent and whilst outside the ring he would grab hold of a kendo stick and wrap it around El Brody’s throat for extra leverage in what was truly a diabolical submission attempt. The move seemed to impress the fans, who would start chanting Saint Diego around the Long Beach Convention Center. Diego though, would grow bored of trying to get his foe to tap and instead would release the hold and proceed to beat the crap out of El Brody with shot after shot of the kendo stick before the wood would end up breaking in two and splintering everywhere.
- El Brody would show some real fight and despite the fact that he had been suffering one hell of a beating would show he was so very far from being defeating as he would running across the outside of the ring apron to nail Saint Diego with a hurricanrana, but rather than releasing the his opponent would tighten his grip and instead squeezing tightly with both his calves before eventually releasing the impromptu submission maneuver.
- Diego would continue to impress in the contest, nailing El Brody down hard onto the concrete with a Reverse Russian legsweep that looked like it had drawn blood, as the Mexican would be spotted spitting blood that would be noticed by the cameras. Diego would continue to dish out a beating and fold up a steel chair before proceeding to slam it down on his clearly hurt opponent. And the match for quite a while had been headed in this direction, as Saint Diego would drag an almost unconscious El Brody to his feet and wipe him out with Californication [Double underhook facebuster] to finally bring the contest to an end.
Winner: Saint Diego

Tag Team Match
vs
Summary
It was clear that this was just another setup by the Chosen Few as whilst Iced Looch was making his way out to the ring he would be attacked from behind by both 40 Double Dee and James Hater with the two men beating the crap out of Looch. Rancid Jay would run out to his partner’s aid chair in hand only to leave everyone as he would nail his partner with a shot with a steel chair shot to the head that would leave the New Munich native in a very bad place as he would be on the receiving end of a three on one mugging before a security team would come to Looch’s aid.
Result: No Contest

Atlanta Castor would cut a passionate promo backstage ahead of the evening’s scheduled main-event.
+ Atlanta Castor +
“It seems my family have all been out of luck over these last few weeks, but I am happy to announce that I will be gracing the halls of Lucha Underground to right the Castor ship and get used to the trajectory that is becoming of our position in the wrestling community. Uncle Dragon has been a shining example for many members of our family, but we can’t expect the old man to carry us for the rest of our lives. Next week, I will be calling all of my extended family because all need to get on the same page to understand that if we are going to stamp the foot of Castor authority down it needs to be regimented and well organized. My name is Atlanta and I am the headache you’re never going to regret!

Main Event
vs
Summary
- Borg and Moosick have been pulling well as tag team partners over the last few weeks, but their partnership could potentially be thrown in the wind forever depending on how this qualification match goes. The match would start with both men going slowly and carefully towards each other with it clear that there was still a level of respect held between both men. The more flashy in his attire and wrestling style would look to bring down the bigger hoss of an opponent with a well placed Beef Borger Strike [Spinning Knife Edge Chop], but Moosick would just smile to himself as he would remain vertical and on his two feet almost unmoved by the strike attack.
- Jake Moosic though would return with a quick fire of open palms slaps that would really catch Borg off guard and the fans would be left disappointed by also stunned as Moosick would lift up his opponent and wipe him out with the J-Bomb to claim a pinfall victory in under three minutes of the contest.
@Dubble J@Frankensteiner@Brody you each all got the most predictions correct - you can send me any two names on the roster who you wish to take part in a Lucha Scramble Match. They can not include: Branson Peach, Geoffnelius, Big Smoky or Jake Moosick.
[Anarchris, Nat Redame, Iced Looch & Awful Anna are no strangers to taking part in a Lucha Scramble and this will be the second in four shows for the quad. For Sharknado and Rancid Jay this will be their first inclusion in this multi man melee of a match. With Rancid Jay having become a member of ‘The Chosen Few’ last week, there is a large amount of fiery elements being expected considering the man he betrayed and helped beatdown Iced Looch is also a member of this contest. To add extra spice, it has also been confirmed that the winner will earn the fifth slot in the Border Crossing Death Match.]
Tag Team Match
vs
[Geoffnelius and Jake Moosick are two of the men that will challenge for the vacant Lucha Underground Championship in the weeks to come. On tonight’s show though they will meet in a tag team match. Geoffnelius teams up with his gigantic ally Genghis Eireann and it has been confirmed they will wrestled under the name ‘Space Cadets’. Moosick teams up with Hyzenn Borg, with the pair currently the only tag team in Lucha Underground to win every single match although it is clear who the alpha of the team is at the moment. Who will gain an advantage if any as we approach the Border Crossing Death Match that is waiting just over the horizon.]
Singles Match
vs
[Both men were previously part of the Lucha Scramble during Episode Two. It has emerged that Solidus Ocean was far from impressed with what Rudo Jim brought to the table and has requested a match, so using his own words “wanting to teach the young pup about
respecting their elders”. We haven’t been able to get a response from the young man representing ‘the 510’.]
Main Event
vs
[Mustango will make his singles debut in the show’s main event and will do so against a mystery talent. All we know about the opponent is that they have yet to be in communication with Lucha Underground and are not even roster official at this point in time. This means Mustango will have no idea who they are facing, so will struggle to prepare fully. This is the menacing nature of Lucha Underground.]
[Predictions can be made once again - the winner/s this episode will help decide the final qualifying match for the future championship match.]
