The high fliers are actually what really got me interested into the WWE. But before that, I watched WWF and Nitro.

WCW had some epic cruiserweights. When did you watch it?

I like the Title matches, but I'm not high on Kane vs Cena. I still don't understand why Kane's going after Cena. Cena's becoming interesting to me, I'd still rather watch paint dry than watch anything to do with Eve and Kane's just Kane. They should've build up the Rumble match more, though.

Kane going after Cena is all about Kane wanting Cena to embrace the hate. I know it goes against Kane's past, but I'm sort of glad they chose him (especially as he's masked). If anyone can make it believable to make Cena embrace it, then it's him.

If Ziggler wins we RIOT!

Kinda pissed of that they had to put Ziggler in a storyline with C.M Punk...he's not really at his level so this storyline is pretty much boring.

I will def. be there to support my man punk.

I dunno, Ziggler is in the top 3 best technical wrestlers in WWE, and is THE best seller (making others look good) in WWE. His mic skills used to be poor, but last weeks RAW and the week before (especially the week before) he was great on the mic. I think it's a good time for him to be in the ME and lose.

Punk's good but he's not as great as he's sometimes made out to be imo. He's sloppy in the ring half of time and repetitive on the mic on occasions. Dolph is probably a better in ring technician then punk now and most certainly a better seller. They both have their ups and downs.

I think it's more lack of effort with his ring work, when he's fully at it he's exceptional as you know probably more than me. As for his mic work, that's booking really up until the recent rants. I don't think his rants can get repetitive. Only competitors who could compete with Punk on the mic in WWE are Jericho, Miz, Cena, Christian & Rock if I'm honest.

I'm unsure if it's the lack of effort or if he needs someone to lead him who's phenomenal in ring such as Samoa Joe or Austin Aries. Id just like some more variety in his promos at times. Like in his feud with HHH all he essentially did was crack jokes about Stephanie and break kayfabe. It gets annoying when he's shown he's better then using those line consistently.

Dunno, he has the ability to control a match I think. Apparently (listened to interview today) he's the one who talks and carries the match constantly. He said he oftens tells the opponent to shut up if they're trying to say what's next lmao. I agree that someone like Bryan, Jericho and Ziggler could probably bring out better matches with poor wrestlers than Punk.

As for his mic work with HHH, yes, he did repeat some jokes but it fit with the story-line at the time, and HHH was giving him nothing to work off. How does he counter "You using those as excuses that you lost?" lines that HHH was dishing out. Don't get me wrong, he's overrated. Most people the IWC adore are. I'll be honest, I generally prefer more often than not Miz & Jericho promos. More consistent.

I've seen alot of his work in ROH and IWA:MS and he I know he's toned down on the mic which is a shame similar delivery to his promo at Death before Dishonor could be legendary. The whole I'm leaving with the belt was similar but he seemed to lack conviction in his words for me.

Personally I thoroughly enjoye him during that story-line. He made everyone (90+%) in the IWC, a place normally where no one is fooled due to spoilers and just general knowledge of pro-wrestling think he was actually leaving. If he was shouting and properly being all "Mr. Passionate" then I don't think it'd have the same effect.

It's not passion such as he actually believes in his words. He didn't seem like he did to me. People thought he'd possibly leave the company but did anyone believe he'd leave with the belt? That was the purpose of the storyline plus with the dirt sheets all reporting his contract was expiring it did seem he was legit going to leave at one point.

I think any "smark" would know that no superstar would leave WWE with the WWE title and actually be gone from WWE. Hell, even casuals know that lol. The point really was "wtf is going to happen?". Most people knew Cena wouldn't win against a hot product like Punk was at the time, especially in Chicago. But then, people generally thought his contract as ending and leaving, so who the fuck knew what was going on? Lol.

Of course if Punk was to win every-one knew he wouldn't actually leave the company, which is the bad side to being a "smark". Even after he won though, plenty of people were like "so is he gone?". Some people predicted he'd return in a year or 2 with that same championship. I think his promos with Vince, Cena and the rest had passion personally. The contract signing especially.
