I love how Vince feels that if cole yells literally every time Roman hits a bigger move, it’ll somehow always make it better. It reminds me of the cheesy video games for ps2 that came out. Raw vs Smackdown and some Smackdown games, and the audio clips of cole when the rock was wrestling, for example, would be him literally screaming “the rocks, THE ROCKBOTTOM!!!!! Is really powerful” randomly throughout a match with the rock, was hilarious and stupid. He does the exact same shit now with Roman. I can understand if Roman literally hit every single finisher 100% out of no where, but he acts like no one saw it coming, at all, lol.

Roman Reigns is a Tabula Rasa & everything
about him is so forced, pathetic & lame.

He's about as interesting as a dog turd & its
a real shame so many other careers have been
stalled or flat out ruined because of the WWE's
insistence on pushing him in a role he does
not have the charisma or mic skills for.

I will admit he can wrestle...but he's no Styles
or Rollins (who should be fighting & defeating
Lesnar at SummerSlam IMO)

I hope the entire crowd does its best to "sabotage"
this match & boo Reigns out of the building if/when
he wins.

I personally hope Strowman cashes in during the
match, puts both Lesnar & Reigns through an
announcers table & pins Reigns to win the title...

WHICH IS WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED
AT SUMMERSLAM LAST YEAR!!!

Also I'm not surprised that Lesnar vs. Reigns Mk.4
is happening because Vince has the potential
Strowman cash in to blackmail the live audience
into staying in their seats & actually caring about
the match.

If Strowman still has briefcase after his match with
Owens then just wait for the Strowman chants during
this match...and its the only thing that will keep the
audience invested...and Old Man Vince knows it.

It's amazing how when not watching, seeing just how little has happened between Summerslam last year and this year is relatively crazy.
Like hell I was screaming for them to do Becky vs Carmella for the briefcase.
Honestly, you know I'm of the opinion of wanting Roman to win the belt, so that was absolutely a better call last year because as insane as it sounds, he looked like he was in the match to eat the pin. He got owned by Strowman in the previous feud and Joe was significantly hotter as a character (pfffft, hotter character than Roman lmfao) so there was at least a chance of it coming across palatable to have Roman leave with the belt... But they didn't do that, they built it up to Mania and then got scurred. Good job Vince.

Small detail, I've changed my mind. This should be the semi-main because if the main event is supposed to be the thing you remember most (and to your point, the reason to stick around during Roman and Brock), why not end the night with Ronda trucking the holy bajeezus out of Alexa?

It's just sad. Seeing this as a red pill/blue pill scenario. (Do you want Strowman cashing in and Reigns chasing after the belt some more, or Reigns winning the belt and going up against other challengers until Strowman cashes in eventually?)

That match in itself will be absolutely horrible...unless
they book a Goldberg/Lesnar style 90 second squash
match...which they won't because they have to make
Alexa look strong...even if she's the Polly Pocket of
the entire division.

The very idea of Ronda "selling" for Alexa makes me
cringe...and the thought of Alexa "underselling" for
Ronda makes me cringe even more.

But seriously Roman winning yet again is simply insane to me at this point. If anything, it should’ve been a triple threat with Roman Brock and lashley, simply for the sake of not being so damn repetitive. I think that the third time is a charm with almost any feud and Roman had a shot at 31, Summerslam last year, mania, greatest royal rumble, and now summerslam. They’re acting as if Brock and Roman have never crossed paths until this year. It’s been an “ongoing” kind of thing, but the issue is that it’s stale and run it’s course. Insomuch, I can’t even recall the last time a mania main event was literally booed nonstop.

Dumb dumb dumb. Fuck Roman. WWE can make this feud “big” all they want, but this is no where near a triple h/Shawn, Cena/edge, stone/rock, rock/cena, triple h/taker, Brock/Kurt, etc. Roman isn’t of that caliber as much as they want him to be lol.

Lots of people say “yeah but Roman brings the best out of people..” yeah, so can Rollins, Bray, Styles, Miz, Orton, Balor, Cena, Owens, etc. lots of good wrestlers who do their jobs amazingly. Roman can wrestle good the majority of the time, I’ll give him that. But, that’s it.... he’s no different or interesting than anyone else who can wrestle well. Well, let me take that back, he’s a lot lamer than all those stars above I mentioned.

Roman sells because he looks he part and is ushered into the main event no matter what. That’s it. Kids see him as a hero, women cream their pants, and the typical fans buys into the Shit as well. He will never be at cenas level because he lacks the charisma and leadership ability to make a feud interesting. Plain and simple. That’s why he sells well... but not enough lol.

The argument “well yeah he gets a reaction.” Lmfao. Nearly everyone does!!!! At any arena around the world you don’t think Owens gets one, Rollins, balor, miz, Bryan, styles, etc.? They literally all do! Good, bad, or indifferent. Sure, in some areas of the country or globe, Roman may get a few more cheers or boos than others, then styles might get more elsewhere or Owens or whoever. It’s how it works. Lol. He’s not special. He’s a pretty boy who can wrestle well and is Vince’s image of what a champion should be, so hes forced into the main event and makes enough to money to keep Vince and others at bay.

WWE will make money in spite of itself at this point.... so pushing Roman and justifying it is very easy in today’s day and age.
