If you guys saw the TNA Bound For Glory IV promo where they interview a bunch of guys, then you saw that when Jeff Jarrett was getting interviewed he said that he is promising a huge announcement at the Bound For Glory IV PPV. Mick Foley is the first thing that popped into my head, but then after we saw Mick debut on iMPACT! this passed Thursday night I'm guessing that idea is out the window. So, what could it be now? My guess is he'll come out and say that TNA iMPACT! is going HD. It might be a little anti-climatic, but look how WWE hyped their HD debut. They made it seem as if the company was moving into a new era. TNA could do the same, they can make it feel like a very special moment. The problem is, I don't get Spike HD so like, it won't affect me at all :(

So, what do you think this "BIG announcement" is going to be? Do you think Jeff Jarrett was talking about Mick Foley when he said that? Or is it something else? Or maybe nothing at all?

Any chance it could be about the new studio? I remember a few months ago they said it was nearly finished. That'd be a pretty big thing for TNA.

It might be TNA going HD as the first choice but it could be other things as well, maybe some just shifted to TNA Wrestling without anyone knowing anything about it... :shifty:

I can see Ric Flair being the dark horse and having signed with TNA.

However, knowing TNA, it's more of a corporate announcement. The HD makes sense as they have been preparing for the shift time before.

Kurt Angle is going to show how good TNA Wrestling is by competing in a UFC fight later this year. Angle will leave to go train and they can push other wrestlers and then have him return bigger than ever especially if he wins.

I would agree with this assesment. A simple HD announcement is hardly worthy enough to be a part of Jarrett's comeback.

Maybe Jarrett said the announcement early last thursday, still being Mick Foley.

I think it may be the addition of a new title.

Last year at Bound For Glory the knockout title was created, now Bound For Glory comes round again and there is the likes of Booker, AJ, Cage all without a match and unless they all get tag partners there is no obvious match for them to be in. Then there is Booker and Sharmell carrying around a breifcase(unless i missed something it has not been explained what is in it) now could it be a new title inside the case.

The X Division Tag Team Titles...Era of Russo 2 imo

But whoever said the Angle/UFC thing is probably right...but knowing Kurt Angle, he just spews nonstop shit, and he probably will never even get near an octogon...

Jarrett said it would 'shock the wrestling world', though this being TNA, it probably wouldn't be like that at all, but there's a strong likeliness that it could be Ric Flair signing with TNA...
