The Best AEW Newcomer/Original?

AEW has been around for a little over a year now and I've gotten to see wrestlers I don't think I'd ever see in WWE. I wanted to get your guys take as to who was the best AEW Original or Newcomer. I just listed a bunch of people who I don't think had any significant run at WWE/NJPW/TNA or wasn't there at all.

I guess the criteria is not so much who's your favorite, but who do you see being a future AEW Heavyweight Champ. Let me know if I missed anyone

I feel like it's a 50/50 on Darby and MJF. Think Darby would be a great face champion, and MJF a fantastic heel champion. I see MJF getting the belt first tho before Darby.

I like MJF, he's definitely not a stand out for his matches and Darby isn't a standout for his promos. I'd say Ricky Starks will probably be a champ in the future just because he's got a bit a both.

Was hard to pick between MJF and Ricky Starks. I still need to see more of Starks, but his charisma is the best out there rn. MJF goes the extra mile to be a dick lol

I have enjoyed Orange Cassidy, mainly because of the novelty of his character. I have to admit I wasn't familiar with him before AEW. At first, I had a hard time seeing how they could do anything with the character. it seemed so limited. But they have been able to continue doing things with him.

There’s a lot of great talent in AEW that I was not familiar with before. Orange Cassidy stands out the most to me because of the originality of the character. He’s one of the very few face wrestlers that I find myself rooting for and not losing interest in.

I actually like Ricky Starks the most out of everyone in AEW tbh. I'm just unsure if they'll put the belt on him before others really. I could see him as world champ in the future for sure.

Let's get some love for Sammy. I know MJF is the best pure heel, Darby has been a perfect underdog character, but I feel as though Sammy has potential on both ends of the spectrum. He has proven he can be an annoying heel, and his move set blends well to being a babyface.

I like Sammy but it's so hard to get over the fact that he looks like he should be starring in twink porn. But fortunately, lately, I have been able to overlook easier because he has been putting on excellent matches.
